I got to share a bottle of this at Sour and Bitter. Poured from the bottle into my stemless wine glass.
Appearance: Pours a dark cloudy amber color with a half finger of off white head that goes away quickly.
Smell: Slightly sweet with a mild cheese like funk. There is a slight citrus juice tartness showing up as well.
Taste: This beer is tart right off the bat, but there is plenty of sweetness to back it up. Fairly light and crisp flavor, reminds me a bit of champagne. Lemon tartness throughout.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with very mild carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: This beer was much darker than I expected it to be. Doesn't really matter to the taste, I just thought that was interesting. Overall this was a good lambic and I would have more given the chance.
