S: mild, subdued, good but not anything unusual
T: wow, there's the sour!, a well-balanced, nicely made lambik, great malt with good sour
M: very nice, malt and sour, good balance
O: good, but flat and somewhat lifeless

This was essentially our first pour at the beginning of the cellar tour in Lot, and right out of the foeder, no less. It displayed a surprisingly clear golden-amber with a minimally bubbly head, developing more so by the thin stream of liquid hitting the glass from a good height as opposed to any substantial carbonation.
In its youth, it exhibits characteristics more like pear and apple juice accented by lemon, thus it's also a little more acidic and simultaneously bitter than is typical for their more nuanced, balanced blends.
The lighter body contains fewer, more delicate bubbles before experiencing any bottle conditioning, though the seedy sesame-like oak is already detectable, in addition to a hint of strawberry!

Consumed 3/19 at LoD.
Still, golden color. Clear. Mineral notes and a somewhat nail polish remover flavor. Funky cheese, oaky. It’s okay, but I have better jonge lambic.

Lots of diacetyl, could have just been an off batch.
