L'inox is a nice looking place on Grande Allée in Québec.
They offer 4 regular beers:
La trouble fête witch is a kind of Belgian white beer with Coriander and orange peels...
La 3 de Piques made with Caramel Malt...
La Transate, a Pale ale with a good Malt taste and a bit bitter as well, not bad !
La Scotisch, a Brown beer with chocolate Malt, also not bad
And you will find a seasonal beer as well, this week was the Sortilège (stout) and it was...ok I guess
Food is quite average: Nachos, Hot-dogs, cheeses...
Been there, done that !
No official tasting glasses or portions but the waitress was nice enough to give us a sample of each.
Huge big screen tv's to watch the hockey game and they have pitchers !
I had the feeling the place was more around big home made beer consomption then the actual home made beer loving and tasting.
Have a look for yourself

We stopped here on a Monday for lunch and to try their beers. The pub is located outside of the old city tourist area, but not too far and it is walkable. It was slow when we arrived so we received excellent service. The pub is like a storefront setting narrow and deep (a patio with tables/umbrellas is at the front). A dining space is up front, and the bar and more dining space is situated about halfway down the building (maybe 10 stools at the bar). The brewing equipment is farther to the rear. We liked the vibe here.
The beer menu had 12 beers plus 4 seasonals, but only 8 were available. We chose a sampler flight of 5 beers (3 were tapped out that we asked for so had to go to second choices) to develop an overall evaluation of their beers. All of them were brewed very well to style, but only one of them was notable, the L'Eldorado Rhum Orange. The rest were tasty beers except that the Marto Maple was just okay.
The food menu is limited for lunch, but had enough selections that we easily found something that we liked. We actually rated the food a notch better than the beers, but that's not to take away anything from the beers. There is a full bar that includes wines, so non-beer drinkers have plenty of options. This brewpub is a worthy visit.

L'Inox is a handsomely appointed brewpub with a two-tiered terrace out front on the Grande Allé Est, pretty much right across the street from Le 3 Brasseurs. The decor combines polished wood and stainless steel with exposed brick for a sharp/semi-industrial look, and there are two floors.
All of the beers I've had have been very good although the food is lacking. It's basically nachos and hot dogs, but their hotdog in a baguette is interesting though, and I'd never seen that before except for at Benelux in Montréal.
There are 4 or 5 regular beers and 1 or 2 seasonals. The seasonals will of course be the interesting beers, but I felt their blanche, rousse, and dunkel were tasty and well-brewed as well.
It's expensive, but it's on the Grande Allée just up the hill from the very touristy old town where everything is expensive anyway. I feel their beers are worth the cost, and you're paying for the experience as well, but the food is a waste and doesn't seem to fit at all with the kind of posh, hip vibe they've got going on.
If you like polished, hip places where you'll find a lot of people in designer clothing this might just be for you. I personally prefer more run down, ripped-jeans and sneakers kinds of places like Bateau de Nuit, Le Projet, and La Barberie, but I've still enjoyed myself, and I'd recommend it just to try the beers.

We stopped by here for a patio seated offering. The server was bubbly and friendly, our selections were the Brown Ale and the Stout. Both were simple and delicious, The vibe was warm and welcoming. Conversations, background music was not overbearing. We did not have any food, just came from lunch in the old town. After the 2 offerings we settled up, I did not think the price point was to high. We will certainly retrn.

+ Nice modern/industrial vibe
+ Good pub food
- Basic service
- A little expensive
- Poor selection
- Average quality
Not really a place for beer connaisseur, more of a place to go for the vibe and a central downtown location. They have lots of rotating beers, much more than what is shown on BA, but only 3 or 4 at the same time.

Stopped by to taste all they had to offer. All the beer was decent none really jumped out as great. Nice place for a drink on a patio.
They had 5 beers on tap when I was there and didn't really wow me with any of them. If your looking for great beer hit another on but for ppl watching and easy drinking. Great.

Sitting on a patio in the sun on a busy street in Quebec City? It is hard to mess with that atmosphere... The beer sampled was well crafted and enjoyable, but they claim to have four regular beers on tap and only had three the day I was there with no other special offerings either. Service was quick and attentive, but without more beers on tap I decided not to return there during my visit...
Yes, and as for price $6.5 for a pint wasn't unreasonable, it just was more expensive than what I expected.

We stopped by this place before dinner as we are just down the street at the Loews hotel. Very modern appearance with techno type music playing - fairly youngish crowd. The bar is just OK - this place is probably better when you can sit out front. It appears that they have 5 or 6 beers on tap - we had the "amber" and "white - with cranberries". I was hoping that they had the "scotchie", but that was not available today. The beer was fine, nothing to go out of your way for, but not unpleasant. It appears that they have some food - some hotdog/sausage thing with a roll that goes around it - with some very tasty looking chips. Service was friendly and prompt.

This brewpub is located next to the Chateau Laurier, east of the Plain of Alexander park. The ladies working the bar were very helpful and eager to show this displaced American some good artisanal French beers, not to mention the fact that they were all beautiful! My favorite beer was the Rousse, but all that I tried were well made. As this was the closest craft brew location to our business conference, we stopped in several times for a drink and snack, and the quality of service never waivered from superb!

Cool, exposed brick and steel affair in the Lower Town, with a well-laid out main seating area centered around the bar, and several pool tables in another room. They also had a patio, but it was under four feet of snow so I can't really comment. Service was friendly, and we were greeted and replied in French. The Quebecois are wonderful at detecting english speakers, even if your french is half-decent, so our server switched to english and described the beers. We had two nice wheat beers that were in very good shape. One was the seasonal and flavoured with cranberry, and he other was flavoured with coriander. They only have four on tap, so that could be a problem for some people. We didn't eat because we were already stuffed with poutine.

One of four brew-pubs we visited on our trip to Quebec. This relaxing place on the edge of old town (down near the port, on the more modern edge) was a great spot to sit outside and enjoy some nice beer. The patio area was quite large and had umbrellas for shade, with some views of old buildings but mainly parking lots and a fairly large street...not the most fantastic ambience, but OK. Inside was cosy and dark with a large bar accessible from all sides and lots of tables, too. Only a few people inside since it was such a nice summer day.
The English Bitter was very good, and even better are the long spicy sausages inserted into hollowed-out french rolls. Yum! The blanche (witbier/hefeweizen) was OK, we had some better quebec blanches elsewhere.
If we had more time I would have returned to try more beers. All in all a good sopt to hang out and have a delicious sausage.

We hit this place in between lunch and dinner. The place was dead. The only people in the place either were working there or were frinds of the workers hanging around. We tried 2 of the 4 offerings. Both of the beers were quite tasty. Very loud Tecno dance music blasting. The people working dung it. But unfortunatly most in my party wanted to run out before I even ordered. Older building being reused (cool) with a lot of chrome and oak decor to go with the tecno musak. We all had some sort of sausage baked in a small loaf of bread. Which was tasty and filling. My weakess with the language beat me to death in here.

I went to this place twice (while visiting Quebec for a day). It is in the center, but outside of the city walls. There is a fairly large outdoor patio. Once inside there is a triangular bar in the middle. One side is normal height, but as you go up the steps on each side of the bar, the relative height is lowered, so you essentially sit behind a lowered bar. There are tables all around the bar. The tanks can be seen in the back. There is also another room with some pool tables. Decor is clean and modern, but comfortable and not cold.
My first visit was Saturday, late afternoon. The place was practically empty. Nice, quiet, relaxing. The next visit was the same day, but fairly late (around midnight). The place was full (although not crowded) and a lot noisier with louder music and subdued lighting. Atmosphere was good. Younger, college type of crowd. Bartenders spoke little English, but they were friendly. I order without any problems.
Maybe I felt uncomfortable without knowing a single word in French, but I skipped my regular plan of trying to sample a few of their beers, and only stuck to one, Trouble-Fete. Good quality, very refreshing wheat beer. I must've had 4 or 5 pints.
I didn't have any food, so no comments there.
All in all, a good place to spend some time with your friends. In the city center, but away from main tourist attractions (so you don't feel like you're sitting in a tourist trap). Good beer, quiet in the afternoon, but hipper (noisier) at night. I had good time, so I would recommend this place.

This is a great nouveau place near the Old Town, not a long walk up a steep hill either. It has a rather beatnik crowd of young students with a very casual atmosphere. The beers were great and well done. They have a blonde ale that is brewed with syrup that is outstanding. The bar is comfortable and if you get hungry they have the most incredible hot dogs (nothing like the ones you get in the states). Definately a place to stop in for a couple of local beers and a bit of a break from the tourist norm.

A super-modern, super-french brewpub just outside of the Old Quebec City walls. This place had 4 beers on tap the night that I was there. The terribly attractive, non-english speaking female bartender that we had was nice enough and the look of this place and the music that they played were very cutting edge! The 2 beers that I sampled were a hoppy red ale and a nice blonde ale that was made with maple syrup. both were very tasty and they were only $3 (CAD) a glass! I will definately return to try their 2 other main beers as well as some of their seasonals, but I have to sharpen up on my french before I return so I don't feel like such an outsider...

The only brewpub in what I can only say is one helluva city. Many bars and pubs but only one brewpub. It's a good idea to have a bit of French when you go here as no one spoke English on my visit, but I got by ordering without much trouble and very little French. Five or six beers on tap all leaning towards the paler, lighter side of the spectrum. The spicy wit and amber were well made although not inspired, but fresh and tasty. The only food available is a hot dog in a hollowed out baguette. Worth a stop when in town, but not a stand alone visit.
