I bought this as a single at Union Jack's on the Manatawny. I drank it in a goblet, thankfully! Expiry date on back of label.
Pours a hazy, pretty gold/amber with a HUGE rocky three finger head of just off-white foam. Highly effervescent. Head slowly falls to one finger(!), with great lacing.
Aroma is spicy, yeasty, phenolic, fruity, and Belgian-y, with notes of coriander, citrus, pepper, green grapes, and pils malt. Smells great, almost like a double saison!
Flavor is pils malt, some caramel, spices like above, slightly tart lemony citrus, grapes and pears, phenolics, and yeast. Very rich and flavorful. Aftertaste is deliciously fruity, yeasty, and citrusy.
Mouthfeel is rich and creamy, which is surprising considering the carbonation level. Residual sugar is high; lips sticky. Finish is full and long.
I love this beer! It honestly tastes like a double saison. Wonderfully complex, spicy, fruity, and one of my new favorite beers.
