Slightly hazy amber orange color with one finger beige thick head with decent retention and leaving some laces.
Interesting that it has a malty aroma for a Tripel, even though it is mild. Notes of caramels, oranges and a light peach and apple juice.
Elegant flavor of pears, lemon, white grapes, some herbal, green apples, just a bit of condiments, candi sugar and caramel malt. Very dry aftertaste.
Medium body with good carbonation. Alcohol of 10% abv matches perfectly to the beer.
A friendly Tripel with a milder tartness and condiments, but still with a dangerously hidden alcohol punch. I do prefer their Blonde and Bruin versions, though.

Appearance: Ochre/deep gold body with an isabelline/beige head.

Aroma: Pears, apples, quince, light spice, and musty Belgian yeast - all caried by a rather strong alcohol nose.

Taste: Peaches, grapes, and what I would best describe as 'burnt apples'. While the taste itself quickly dissipates, a strong alcoholic finish does linger for a bit.

Mouthfeel: Moderate carbonation with a smooth finish.

Overall: I love it; possibly the best Tripel I have had...so far, at least - but if you are a fan of Tripels, try this.

750ml Bottle from the SAQ QC for $9

Appearance - Gold colour with a large size fizzy/frothy white head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some good lacing. The head lasted for over 5 minutes.

Smell - Cloves, breads/grains, pears/grapes

Taste & Mouth - There is an above average amount of carbonation and I can taste breads/grains, cloves, and pears/grapes. There is also almond/coconut like flavour and a peppery finish.

Overall - A very solid beer. Some interesting flavours and the alcohol is very well hidden. Maybe not a world class brew but still tasty and worth trying.

Pours a nice light amber with a fairly dense finger and a half head. Aroma is more subdued that i had expected, but still carries the traditional belgian must. The taste is definitely more complex than the aroma, I get heavy dark fruit and a surprising amount of sweetness for the mouth feel. I'd say that the body is pretty much perfect, dry but still substantial.

Definitely a sipping beer but subtle enough to over-indulge
