Purchased at the LCBO as a 4pk for $12.00. 330ml bottles. Served at 4deg C in a tulip glass
A- Opens well and pours a ton of white head that lasts. Unfiltered and very light
S- Pretty good. Lots of hops and malt
T- Whoa this one is a contradiction all the way. Can't help but get hit but the hops then bowled over by the malt. It's a heavy duty one two punch. Citrus abounds.
M- Dry as expected. Carbonated pretty hard
O- Pretty good but will not buy again. The piney hit of the citra hops just doesn't do it for me. Would really like to see these guys do a full DIPA.
This weird little beer went well with... Spicey stir fry

A strange and delicious offering from Duvel.
Yes, it has the upfront notes of a traditional Belgian Pale.
Now, layer complex hops and meringue-like foam. What a beer. Not at all what I expected, but super delicious, none-the-less.
If cheaper, a regular.
At current price, a semi-luxury.
Worth the price, at any rate,

A: Clear yellow with enormous head. High effervescence. No floaties.
S: The most intense, most distilled pine, resin, evergreen character i have ever gotten from a brew. Kind of overwhelms everything else, but being so organic and complex it hardly feels lacking.
T: Follows up on the nose with rich, beautiful and extremely evocative pine forest aromatics.
M: Medium low bitterness. Full bodied. Medium high carbonation. Finishes sweetish with a clove like aftertaste.
Overall: Such a treat of a beer. Unique profile and interpretation of the style.

Poured from 12 oz 2014 bottle,
A- Pale yellow, bright white 2 finger head, not much lacing
S-white grapes, grass, wheat malt
T-dry white wine, belgium style wheat malt, complex hops profile, detect the tangy/funky sorachi
I like the hoppines, its the right balance
M- medium, effervecent carbonation
O- its between brooklyn brewery local one and this as my favorite belgium wheat ale
Easy to drink, really complex and really tasty, if it was cheaper i would get this regularly
