A nice pour at the soft opening party.
big creamy head, 1 finger fades slowly nice lacing murky mahogany brown color.
Nose big toasty malts, caramel and molasses, toffee, little nutty note, big earthy hops, light pine and spicy hop, some mild booze with faint phenols
Taste brings sweet candy, toffee, molasses, caramel, little nutty note, lots of toasty brown malts, mild creamy nougat. Hops kick in, earthy little piney and spicy, quite bitter to a not so balance. Faint boozy phenols. Finish is sticky sweet but drier, fair bitterness, lingering toffee brown malts and piney earthy hops.
Mouth is med to fuller bod, little creamy, nice carb, almost no booze.
Overall pretty good, nice malts, booze hidden fairly well other than nice mild phenols, hops are a little too pRominent and bitter imo, dominate the malts a bit you much, but still nice.

Enjoyed this at the Brewery's private party.
A - Poured into a standard pint glass a nice hazy copper hue with a fluffy one finger head that leaves awesome lacing. Wowzer.
S - Aromas of caramel, malt sweetness, cereal grains, light toast, little bit of hops. Slightly muted and almost aggressively hopped.
T - Taste is nice caramel, light toast and grains, slightly fruity. The hops make it quite bitter as they are aggressive. Pleasant sweeter malts that work great with the hops. Nicely bready and earthy. Good.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, crisp, alcohol hidden wonderfully.
O - Overall this beer was quite tasty, really pleasant. Great malt profile though it is a bit too hoppy for an English strong.
