Served on tap at Peppercorn's without the rim because I have a thing with any sort of adornment on a beer. Good beer should be able to speak for itself, and this one does. I liked it so I bought a growler of it the next day.

A: Clear, pale orange color with a thin head that dissipates into a thin line of lacing after the first few sips. Light but not weak-looking.

S: Faint hints of pumpkin with a bit of spice. Malty notes present if you look for them but by no means up front.

T: Just enough pumpkin to have a strong presence without being overpowering. The spices come through to compliment the pumpkin without stealing the show. Hops balance it out just enough without negating the spices, as they tend to do in the more robust pumpkin ales.

M: Lightly carbonated, smooth, sessionable beer. Mouthfeel is light without feeling like it's lacking. Finishes cleanly. I could drink a whole growler in one sitting (I know because I've tried it and it's delightful).

O: Not too showy, but accomplishes what it set out to do without trying to blow anyone's socks off. This is a nice, enjoyable ale that puts pumpkin at the forefront, but doesn't get too carried away.

Had on tap 9/22 at Peppercorn's. Served in a standard pint. Had one with a cinnamon rim and this one without.

This pumpkin ale pours a nice clear golden orange color. Slim head falls pretty quickly and leaves some good lacing.

Good aromas of pumpkin and some light spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg are the first things to be noticed. Some sweet malt in the background.

Taste is spot on for a pumpkin beer. The pumpkin is fairly pronounced and goes along nicely with the amount of spices used. Very tasty especially for the low ABV.

Light/Medium body with great carbonation and a crisp finish.

A great offering from Wormtown. I think I see a growler of this in my future.
