Tap at peppercorns
Light fizzy 1/2 finger fizzy but little fluffy head in the pint glass, very slightly hazy golden tan colored beer.

Nose has nice hops, but a light malty base with some light caramel and almost biscuit like but very light. The hops come on somewhat spicy, light pine grassy floral hops, and faint touch citrus.

Taste starts like a nice crisp pale ale, very light malty backbone brings a hint of sweetness at first which disappears very quickly as a huge hop kick comes in. Big earthy hop flavor, spicy, some pine, light hop resins even. The bitterness bites much stronger than the so called 45 IBU label makes it seem, although that bitterness saturates quickly. As it finishes it dries a bit, a light burst of citrus fruit comes out with the spicy piney hops, a long lingering bitterness.

Mouth is med bodied, nice carb, a bit crisp and dry on the finish.

Overall decent apa, a bit too bitter overall, and bit too light on the nose as well, but otherwise a decent beer. I do like the crispness of it, and most of the hop profile is interesting. The nose does not give you really any idea if what the taste brings.

Enjoyed at Peppercorns. 45 IBUs thus features Brazo Centennial and Cascade hips.

A - Poured into a standard pint glass a crystal clear light golden hue with a one finger white head that fades to leave a nice thin blanket and lots of sticky side lacing. Quite nice.

S - Aromas are a bit underplayed. Nice bready malts and light pine. Kinda it....not nearly as hoppy as I figured it would smell. Super, super faint bubblegum smell after.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with super faint bubblegum with light pine notes and citrus peel then fading to some malt sweetness. Lightly spicy finish. Much better as it warms.

M - Mouthfeel is nice for the style. Crisp, sessionable, with a lingering bitterness.

O - Overall this beer wasn't a bad offering. Wish the nose was more existent. Still, its a super sessionable apa from wormtown. Good pint.
