A: Looks just like honey, appropriately.

S: Honey and malt, predominantly with slight hop notes.

T: Lots of honey flavor with a bit of a bitter finish.

M: Very thin and refreshing. Medium level of carbonation.

O: I really enjoyed this, I'd order it again.

Tap at Peppercorns.

Nice creamy 1 finger head doesn't want to fade, eventually leaves some nice lacing, cloudy opaque yellowish orange tan colored, probably end of the keg so I won't give it too much shit.

Nose nice and floral, sweet malt, blond sweet malty aroma with definite honey and mead like fermented honey, mild esters and touch of phenolic booze, fairly floral too.

Taste starts with a dry Belgian beer flavor, big ester fruity flavor and phenolic booze from typical Belgian yeast, some warming booze, fairly hot for only 7.7%, but typical for Belgian strong style. Honey is there but mild, a floral and fermented honey flavor fairly dry and a bit if a yeast bready character. Since its fairly dry the phenols and booze seem to come through stronger. Some floral tea like flowery flavor too is interesting. Mild grassy earthy hop profile with med bitterness, as well as a grainy slight bready malt. Finish is dry and some bitterness, more phenolic booze and esters, as well as dried honey and plenty of Belgian yeast characters.

Mouth is med bod, decent but a bit lower carb. Again prob end of a keg.

Overall nice and interesting, nice honey fermented character, nice Belgian yeast, esters, phenols are nice but a bit boozy, but still tasty

This was brewed with honey from "Bee My Honey" from Sutton, MA. Enjoyed at Peppercorns.

A - Poured a very nice hazy honey hue with a thin half a fiber head that leaves light lacing and a thin blanket. When I say honey I mean this is the hue of a jar of wild honey.

S - Aromas of light sweet malts, gentle honey notes and faint wildflower. Quite appealing albeit subtle.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, just no where near as subtle which is a good thing. Very tasty Belgian yeast notes resulting in an almost tutti fruiti bubblegum flavour. Three honey is a nice mellow sweet counterbalance to the sweet malts. Gentle breadiness very very nice balance of honey and Belgian esters.

M - Mouthfeel is a bit smooth, lighter carbonated, alcohol is hidden nicely though.

O - Overall I enjoyed this beer quite a bit. Really like the honey and Belgian esters and sought almost green apple fruitiness. Solid brew.
