Old school vibe to this place....its a typical middle of a strip mall, stand alone, lots of dark wood, with a large central U- shaped bar kinda joint...serving up typical, burgers, sammies, fish and chips, Wisconsin cheese curds, all with a large serving of that refreshing "midwest nice" attitude...
They brew their own beers and they are better then decent, I enjoyed a worthy IPA and my friend tried and enjoyed a brown ale.
Good place for a relaxing bite and some some quality in house brewed beers, all with a low key and down to earth atmosphere.

A local chain with a standard Sizzler or TGIFridays interior and size and part of a suburban strip mall parking lot. Overly breaded and greasy, bluegill and chips. Good, varied and creative beer styles, such as a juniper rye ale, in the style of old Finland. A couple of standouts were the Oktoberfest & rye IPA.

Started coming to the location on E Washington when it was called Tangent. Name changed soon after to Vintage. Brand new building in fast growing part of Madison. Great food and selection of beers. I stop in every time I am in Madison. About a mile from the capital and very close to the bike Capital bike trail.

Hopping brewpub/ tavern in shopping center, with a lively after work crowd. Large U-shaped bar seats over 30, with booths and tables around the perimeter, a separate dining area, and small sidewalk patio. A dozen beers on tap, they also have a full bar serving cocktails. I had the Oktoberfest and Morsy, both pretty solid. Serves was a bit spotty, as they were slammed. I had the cheese curds, they were nothing special. Definitely a good place to grab a beer after work.

Good looking bar with a local college town vibe. Service is friendly and quick. The beer selection is amazing with different beer styles to choose from. And the swidewinder fries are awesome.

A rehabbed mall chain restaurant with a pretty diverse clientele because of locale. The quality of the beer is surprising as is the diversity of the selection - from cream ales to kolsch to DIPA to Port Barrel Aged Stouts. I sampled 5 or 6 beers and each was well above average for style; the brewer knows what s/he is doing. Service is a bit haphazard and they're spending as much time mixing rum and cokes as pouring beers. Food is solid, a notch above chain restaurant for sure.

Last stop of a week long trip throughout Wisconsin.
Arrived as the lunch crowd was winding down.
Really nice place, could be in a better location.
Service was awesome, appetizer and one of our entree's was awesome, the other entree was pretty good.
Beer was very good with some unique offerings.
Very nice stop for a great end to a very enjoyable trip.
