Pours with a generous one finger of pure white frothy foam that holds just OK with some spotty lacing; very clear slightly darker yellow hue with noticeable rising bubbles.
Aroma is very basic, but not offensive. Mild herbal and grassy hop notes; light maltiness. Really not much to report on there. Flavor brings a little more interest and it is slightly more bitter than most Swiss lagers; crackery dryness; fluffier but fairly thing body. Nice vibrant carbonation. No vegetal notes and very clean all around. Actually refreshing, and easily drinkable for the style. Certainly a session lager, and a cut above most in the country. Not as preponderant as others, but should definitely have it if you come across it (that is above other lagers available).

"Goldsprint" per my bottle. 33cl bottle acquired in Zurich, Switzerland and served into a generic drinking glass. Reviewed from notes taken in June 2010.
A: Pours a one finger head of no cream, fair thickness, and below average retention. Body colour is a clear yellow-gold.
Sm: A light aroma of plain barley. That's about it.
T: Barley foundation with uninspired minimal floral hops. Some stale malt emerges on the climax. As simple as can be, yet somehow still imbalanced.
Mf: Badly coarse and wet. Doesn't complement the flavours of the body.
Dr: Not real drinkable or even high ABV; this won't even do the job to get you drunk easily. Not at all worth its swiss pricetag. A pretty bad beer overall, all things considered.
