On tap. Leaves excellent lacing.
Remarkable simulation of oranges and orange peel in both the flavor and aroma. Mild bitterness for style.
Medium body and carbonation.
O: a very fruity (citrus) and appealing IPA.

Beer #1 in an NC beers only tasting, thanks to Benny (styleisking).
[Appearance: 3.75] It's sort of an brownish-orange, some brightness flaring but quite dark altogether, almost bronze. The head is tight and compact, not tall but holding out for the long haul while managing sticky lacing pretty nicely.
[Aroma: 3.25] The aroma's a little light, and, while the flavor doesn't show hard hoppiness, it's less hoppy here. What I do get is an earthy base and some leaf with a hint of orange peel.
[Flavor: 3.5] It's improved in strength a bit, but not a lot. As it is, it fits within style In a tough market with lots of competition, this IPA doesn't reach the upper level but does hold its own. Malts are somewhat sweet, a bit of caramel and something toffee-like, but lots of biscuit and crust.
[Mouthfeel: 3.75] The body is medium and there's a good smoothness to it before a bit of leaf and texture comes in. Crispness is there, but doesn't quite kick in to the level of the superior IPAs.
