On cask at The Wooden Nickel in Hillsborough served in a slim pint glass a slightly hazy pale yellow with a nice frothy off white head. Aroma is a nice amount of crisp hops an sweet malts. The fast is possible nice amount of smooth crisp citrus hops in front of sweet caramel malts. The beer is light bodied with smooth carbonation. This is a very enjoyable beer, one I would certainly have again.

On-tap at the Greensboro, NC location (Sept 2010) and per the menu, it noted that the beer was the Southern Pale Ale that had been wet hopped with NC grown Cascade, Chinook and Nugget hops. The beer sported a 5.2% ABV.
The beer had a nice thick white head on it that had some good retention and some lacing. The beer appeared a nice golden amber color with some noticeable carbonation.
The aroma was hoppy, but not overly so and a little earthy with a hint of pine.
The flavor of the beer was good, but with a little more hop to it than the Southern Pale Ale, as expected I guess.
The beer had a lighter feel to it. The beer was very easy to drink, smooth, clean, crisp but perhaps just a touch over carbonated.
