I first came to this store because I heard of the vast selection of hard to find beers. I continue to shop here for a couple reasons.
The first reason is the exceptional service that I receive from the staff (some of whom call me by name when I enter). On days when I am looking for something new, they never disappoint in recommending something based on what I have tried before, or the style I am looking for specifically. When I am "just looking" they give me plenty of time and space to research the large selection without feeling rushed.
The prices are very competitive when it comes to standards. Coors and Bud are as inexpensive as warehouse stores in the area. Where they really shine is with craft beer. They get beers that are not found everywhere, and keep the prices low. Even the extremely hard to find beers are reasonably priced.
They are always open until midnight, so I can pick up a six pack after my dinner shift at a nearby restaurant.

Out west on Colfax is where you'll find this place. Not much to look at from the outside, but it's a nice sized store. I'd call it "large" if it weren't for the mega-plexes in denver metro.
Carpet floors gives a nice feel to the place, but with that comes cleaning the damn things. I do not envy them for this. Beer is on the left. About 15 doors (with 4 more on the way), 2 with bombers, no singles per se. Not much selection from the outside....
...but go into the cooler and there are more bombers on the top shelf of the door shelves, but inside. Much better selection, mostly domestic beers with some imports.
Service was good. Ran into Josh, the beer buyer, and we chatted for a bit. Picked up four bottles of "not too hard to find, but hard enough" stuff laying around. A bit cluttered. Hopefully the new doors will help out. While not destination stop, it's great for the area.

Visit this place often. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They have a fairly impressive selection of craft beers with an emphasis on west coast and mid-west breweries. Although they do carry staples such as dogfish head, other popular east coast brands, and imports from Germany and Belgium. They carry most Colorado breweries' line ups. If it's brewed in Colorado, they have it. Great selection of bombers including many of the West Coast hop bombs I miss so much. They even allow you to walk into the back of the cooler to check out the bombers that don't fit in the front. Great liquor selection and prices if that's your cup of tea. Overall decent selection, great prices, but nothing too exotic. The service here is excellent and preferable over Mile High Liquors.
