Kriek Max is brewed with beer of spontaneous fermentation (lambic). The perfect combination of 25% natural cherry juices and the lambic, gives the beer not only its excellent taste but also its pleasant scent.
Served in its specifically chalice-shaped glass on an elegant base, Kriek Max is the max for the real cherry beer lover! Or serve it with ice cubes in the modern Max On Ice glass!

250 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. BB date 15.01.15. ABV is 3.5%. Dark red colour, moderate to low pink head. Lovely aroma of sweet and sour cherries, cherry kernels, almonds / almond essence / marzipan. Sweet flavour with loads of sweet and sour cherries, also hints of almonds. Too sweet, but still a guilty pleasure to drink.

Pours brownish red with a 3 fingers pink head that dissapears rather quickly.
Smells of fermented bittersweet cherries.
Taste follows the nose. Mouthfeel is sweet and sour, a bit thin.

Cherry red with a little carbonation, and topped with a half finger of pinkish head. Fairly clear body.
Smells of cherries, rich sweet cherry pie! Not much more, its the pie filling with no crust or whipped cream.
A big balance of sweet and tart, cherries and vanilla. Quite rich.
Thick body, with moderate carbonation.
Got in Chiang Mai, where I am drinking it at home Sept 1st, 2017. Exceeded my expectations for the style of brew. Sweet to taste, its a dessert beer, but nice and refreshing.

I have no idea why this beer is so much underrated. It pours red color. Has a great cherry aroma and a great taste too. With a hint of almond and a bit sour. Nice feel and carbo. I think it's mislabled as lambic but it's very good fruit beer,
