A- Pours a very deep red, almost brown with a short-lived head.
S- The first thing to hit the nose is a sweet vinegar aroma. The acetobacillus leaves notes of both cider vinegar and balsamic vinegar. There's also a sharper sourness as well with quite a few fruity tones. Sweet and sour cherries come through in the nose, along with hints of plum.
T- The taste is slightly different than the aroma. The vinegar is not as pronounced in the taste, but there's a distinct lactic sourness that was not as noticeable in the nose. The cherries come throug in the taste very clearly with hints of plum and sour peach. When trying to put my finger on what the "peachy" flavor was, it took me several sips to convince myself that it actually was peach because it was so unexpected.
M- Slightly mouth-puckering with lively carbonation.
D- Not too sour and very well balanced. Overall, a really good example of the Flanders Style ale without being too vinegar-y.

Pours a deep, slightly opaque red with an off white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Subtle carbonation. Aromatics are of sour cherry, discernible vinegar and faint wood. Sour cherry and light vinegar are present on the pallet. Slight oakiness and berries present. Complex, not too tart. Excellent starter beer if you're new to sours.
