11.2oz bottle poured into a tulip.
Reddish brown with ruby red highlights. Has 1 finger of off-white head that dissipates quickly. Excellent clarity and low carbonation.
Lactic sourness, cherry, lemon and crushed Sweet Tarts.
Candy-like sour cherry (think cherry Jolly Rancher) and maraschino cherry juice. Moderate lactic sourness with some syrupy sweetness. Some lemon juice and funk. Sweet red wine and red grape juice. Hints of crushed up Sweet Tarts.
Medium bodied, sweet, sour and refreshing.
It's definitely a Flanders Red. Sour. Cherry. Red wine. However, I really don't get any oak or vanilla flavors.

Pours a clear amber with red highlights and a modest tan head that lingers as a thin foam layer.
Oak, acetic acid, tart cherries, and vinous notes begin the aroma. Soft hints of vanilla and earthiness add complexity. As it warms,a sweet, toasted malt character emerges.
Decidedly sour initially, lactic acid, tart lemons, with underlying sour cherry character. Mid palate, oaky, earthy flavors take over, carrying into a dry finish, which is accented by a touch of cocoa. There's a background of lightly sweet malt present, subtly preventing the sourness from overwhelming the palate.
Body is fairly full, with high carbonation to lighten the flavor and cleanse the palate.
Definitely not a starter sour. Very complex and refreshing.

Appearance: thick, dark syrup look - dark brown, red, and amber all fighting for dominance; pours a solid, almond head
Aroma: tart cherry raspberry, currant; hint of sweetness, like a pie
Taste & Mouthfeel: careful with that first sip! mouth-puckering sour fruit is an assault on the tastebuds; very fresh and juicy again with raspberry, cherry, and especially red currants; light and crisp with low carbonation; not a lot of body, really feels like an adult fruit juice
Overall: bright and exciting flavours make it an amazing sour, but too intense to have in large quantities.
