People panning this beer are on crazy pills, this is an outstanding belgian golden ale, really exceptional.
a - golden, slightly amber orange, white bubbly head.
s - floral, sweet candy malts, slight bit of sweet wine vinegar and sweet tart and sweet sugary grapes.
t - sweet floral belgian golden, slight bit of artisan honey bitterness, little bit of sweet tart candy sweetness. Some mild vinegar acidity up front, but grape sweetness quickly takes over. Outstanding sweet belgian golden, sweet as Lucifer but dryer and airier, and with a touch of sweet white wine vinegar and a hint of bitter honey, and a subdued but warming alcohol presence.
m - dry light airy mouthfeel, very nice.
d - outstanding, floral, sweet but dry and airy belgian golden ale. The raw honey bitterness might build over time reducing long term drinkability, but otherwise extremely drinkable, dangerously so for the high alcohol content.

A: Clear bright yellowish gold beer. Mostly clear with a trace of cloudiness. Left a large white billowy head that slowly receded.
S: Mothballs. Yeah, a bit musky. Also a big golden wheat smell with a steely carbonic note.
T: Starts off big syrupy sweet with honey. Big musk notes shines through the middle with a mellow yellow raisin, prune and big oak flavor. Finishes greasy and oily. With a little iron and steel mineral.
M: Big, wide, heavy and mouth coating. Finishes with a mild tanginess that wipes most of it clean. Not all.
O: Had some great developed dried fruitiness, but a little too much funk and musk over it. It cuts into the refreshing aspect, but it's still tasty.

Clear gold with intense carbonation resulting in a head that sticks around until the glass is empty! The carbonation is quite interesting to watch as it spirals up from the center of the glass when served in it's own glassware.
The aroma is a bit of a letdown after watching the pour and it's result. Some citrus notes, malts with a touch of yeast.
A nice refreshing and crisp brew. Much less hoppy than expected and the alcohol is barely present.
Light bodied and has a bit of a bite in its aftertaste.
Had this on a whim and it sure paid dividends!
