The beer is clear pale straw colored, small bubbles, a white rather quickly settling head that leaves some lacing. No curtains.

The smell is sweet corn flakes, a slight canned pear aroma, some metallic sourness.

Starts sweet, white bread, then some lemon jam, and a short alkaloid bitterness.

Medium to low carbonation, a thin body and a watery feeling, a coarse dry finish.

Well this is by far the most sold beer in Sweden, year after year, it must be so that I lack something vital in my senses as it to me is very dull, not even "lagom" good. It's claimed to have won a silver medal in "World Beer Cup" in San Diego 2004 - must have been a competition with two contenders! (679 characters)

[Review forced in a non-ideal environment due to an outlier rating]

This is a pretty typical budget pale lager. While simple and shallow, it lacks any offensive off-notes (including the metallic character so often problematic in beers of this style). Certainly below average, but drinkable and by no means bad for what it is.

Reviewed from a blue can purchased at a Prisma hypermarket in Kuopio, Finland.

This is, by far, the most sold beer in Sweden during the last three years It has won the “World Beer Cup” in San Diego in 2004.

The colour is yellow with a tint of gold. The airy white head disappears quickly into a thin lid.

The smell is malty and sweet with some notes of honey, wet paper and butyric acid (ugh!).

The taste is first a bit bitter with some notes of wet wood (!) and a touch of some aroma hops. The aftertaste is weak with some dry malt and a hoppy hint of lemon.

Carbonation is... Average.

Why are people buying this? Who gave it this prize? Well: At least it is more of a “boring” pale lager than a “disgusting” one. (657 characters)

Bottle. It's a mystery how this beer can be the by far the most sold in Sweden. Filthy taste. (93 characters)

Poured from a 500 ml can into a pint glass. Pours a pale yellow color with a thin and quickly receding head. Not a lot of aroma. The taste is of standard macro lager, light malts very little hops. It's thin and watery although it is easy to drink. I guess you could do worse if you're looking for an easy drinking pale lager. If you're actually looking for a beer than I would skip this one. (391 characters)

A - Yellow/gold pour with a small white head and medium carbonation. Bright. Typical lager appearance.

S - Noble hop, some honey, and floral notes.

T - More noble hop, grans, honey, and those flowery notes.

M - Good carbonation, crisp finish.

D - I could drink a few of these no problem. Nothing too crazy here just an unoffensive pale lager. Often lagers can be too sweet but this is nicely balanced. (405 characters)

A: Pours pale yellow with an enormous white fluffy head that instantly dissipates into almost no lace.

S: White bread and lots of corn. Sweet malt. Faint hops.

T: Sweet malt, but loaded with corn. White bread. An unbalanced bitterness. Some honey. Some boiled vegetables. An artificial off-taste, almost detergent-like.

M: Body is thin and carbonation is medium and smooth. Aftertaste is short.

D: This procuct is boring and kind of flat. I would not recomend it. (468 characters)
