4 oz pour at tasting event from 22 oz bottle
A- Haze red with thin head
S- Nice boquett of hops for the nose. A bit of toffee too
T- Rich hops blend that gives this Imperial Red more of an IPA/IIPA taste
M- Solid overall mouthfeel, not too thick or too thin
O- my favorite offering from Figure 8 of the 4 I tried at the tasting (Lost Staint, Raven Tor, Snake Pro). My buddy gave me a bottle of their Off With that I still need to try.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy copper verging on ruby; two inches of foam cap the liquid and display great retention, leaving strands of lace behind
Smell: Big aromatics, with caramel, apple and stone fruit tones as well as earthy hops
Taste: The malt bill from the aroma overwhelms the palate, at the outset, bringing caramel, apple and stone fruit flavors and a bit of biscuit, too; in the mid-palate, the 89 IBUs arrive and add an earthy, tobacco-laden dimension (with just a hint of pineapple); very bitter in the after-taste, though the malt lingers on
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: An interesting beer, though I don't really care for the harsh aftertaste as it obliterates the other features of the hops and challenges the malt
Thanks, jonallen, for the opportunity

One of the best Red Ale's I've tasted.
A - Dark Ruby Red color. Rich creamy head.
S- Hints of toffee and whiskey. Light sweetness in the nose, great hoppy bitterness.
T - Toffee comes through at the front, then the hop profile takes over. For a Red Ale this one shines throughout. Great body.
M - A thick mouthfeel on this which is great for this higher gravity red. Body and substance to balance out the hops.
Overall - Very enjoyable on tap and took a few bottles home. Fantastic beer!!

Murky dark amber and brown with a thick but pillowy khaki colored head that leaves thick chunks and fat rings of lace down the glass.
Definite sweetness and bread in the aroma, along with a touch of spice (cinnamon? interesting), and some mild, earthy hop character. Nice enough, but quite muted.
Sweet flavor of caramel and some mild spice along with earthy hops and a moderate bitterness for the style. Very drinkable, especially on a very hot day.
Medium to full bodied with high carbonation. Great drinkability.
A tasty imperial red. I wasn't expecting to like this much but this was just fine.
