A- opaque with a perfect creamy brown head. The nitro pour puts the appearance over the top.
S- chocolate and roasted grain. Not much else.
T- dark chocolate and coffee. A slight bit of nuttiness in the finish.
Mf- very smooth drinking and light bodied considering the high ABC.
This beer drinks more like an aggressively chocolatey milk stout. I like that. It may be simple for the style, but they all can't be monsters.

served in snifter at F8 tasting room
A.
Pitch black with dense tan head. Your typical looking nitro-pour stout...very attractive looking and leaves huge amounts of lacing.
S.
mainly malts. I have to really concentrate to really get any smells out of it. Nothing really over the top for me. I was hoping for some powerful chocolate smells but not much I'm getting.
T.
A little better than smell but nothing really standing out. Some roastiness and slight chocolate but pretty much all dark malt. Lacking sweetness IMO. There is a little bitterness in there, but I would like a little more sweetness.
M.
fullbodied, carbonation is fairly low and it has an oily mouthfeel to it...sounds weird but still smooth going down.
D.
decent, considering cost and it's very close to me. I've had about 3 or 4 of these but I just can't get into it...I want to like it as I love Imperial Stouts, but this is just average for me.

Had on nitro at the brewery.
A- Pours a deep brown almost soild black color. Nitro head left it that off white fake looking color. This stayed around for awhile leaving ringy sticky lacing on the sides of the snifter.
S- Chocoalte notes come right off the get go. Not all bitter but not all sweet either. Light nutty aroma in the background. Light bready malts mix along with some darker fruits. Roasted malts and light bitter hopping finish up the nose of the beer.
T- Sweet milk chocolate tones upfront with some light bitter chocolate cutting through the sweetness. Some darker fruits in the middle for a second before getting covered with roasted malts. Light bitter hops in the backend of the beer balance this monster of a stout out.
M- Medium heavy mouthfeel. Carbonation was there but I would have liked a little more. Chocolate malts and light roasted malts left on the palate. Aftertaste has warming alcohol, roasted malts, and light bitter hops. Medium drying on the palate from the alcohol. Well balanced for the style. Clean tasting with no off flavors.
D- This beer was very drinkable. Sadly, I never really let this one warm up more because it was so good. The higher ABV though does limit this one to a couple or three. Do yourself a favor and seek this one out before it's gone!
