We attended Sunday brunch at the Brick House after a Saturday night wedding in the Berkshires. I was a little hesitant about finding a good pint here, but I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped foot into the bar. A great selection of micros were staring me in the face... Green Flash, Stone, Magic Hat (as expected), Southern Tier, and many others. The atmosphere is pure bar, as it dominates the small pub, located in the center of the room. It's a bit dark, but cozy. The beer I has (West Coast IPA) was fresh and served at perfect temperature. For food, I had huevos rancheros, and it was great. Others in our group had various build-your-own omlettes, and all raved about how good they were...very fresh ingredients.
I was very impressed by this local bar. Great food and great beer. Can you ask for more?? Check it out while in the area!

I went to the Brick House Pub after reading a review on BA and I was hoping for a little more. When I arrived there were only 2 people at the bar watching golf on the big screen tv which was over the stage. The draft selection was decent for being in the middle of nowhere. They had Southern Tier, Victory, Pretty Thing and Ommegang on tap along with 5 other craft beers. The bottle and can list is all your Bud,Coors, MGD varity. I was hoping they had a decent bottle list but they didn't. Service was good bar tender gave a couple of recommendation of draft beer. I settled on the Pretty Thing-Fluffy White Rabbit which was a good Abbey Tripel. They were out of a couple of items on the dinner menu that I wanted to try so I settled on buffalo hot wings and BBQ chipotle wings which were some of the best I've had. Overall if you are in the area try it out but I wouldn't drive 35 min like I did. I think I was hoping for more taps and a more extensive beer list.
