Located in what looks like a convenience store, the front row of shelves full of soy sauce and snacks hides a selection of more than two hundred kinds of craft and microbrews. The selection of Belgian and west coast American beers is especially good. The shop also stocks beer glasses plus some books t-shirts related to beer.
The staff is very cheerful and helpful, and the manager speaks some English. There is usually a draft beer available, and the manager may give you a pint, and if she has time will offer to drive you back to the train station. You can also order through their website, and it usually arrives quickly.
There isn't much in the neighborhood. The easiest way to get there is by bus from Mizonokuchi station on the Nambu and Denentoshi lines. It's also possible to hike from Shukugawara station on the Nambu line in about 20 minutes, but you need to know the area well.
