A perfect place to enjoy some beer. It has an awesome pub feel. Its cozy and inviting. Not very big, and there are no tv's to distract your from your beer (or your conversation). Taps (~14) rotate pretty quickly. A lot of the usual suspects for PA, plus some rarer belgians and staples from some of the US's larger craft breweries. They have a decent size bottle selection, and there are always 2 casks that feature local PA beers and English session/real ales are always flowing. They even have their own 'Bulls Head Bitter" brewed by St. Boniface, which is quite tasty.

The food is great too. Traditional pub fare, as well as some unexpected goodies (e.g. the deviled eggs w/ candied bacon and fried oysters). It's a little on the pricey side, but the atmosphere, service, great beer and great food make it worth the visit. (827 characters)

Stopped in for a brew after dinner at Appalachian. Very nicely done English pub. The place was packed. Noisy (tin ceiling and hardwood floors) but not overly so. Bartender was quick and accurate. I'd go there a lot if I lived in Lititz! (240 characters)

Stopped in for lunch after a visit to the chocolate factory around the corner.
Some decent beers on tap, current choices would be an IPA lover's (not me) delight. Was happy they had a decent stout. Great pub vibe, seat yourself, if tables available, order at the bar but great service and food was pretty quick even though it was quite busy at the time. Reuben sandwich was great, wife had chicken and leek pie, also great. Reasonable prices. A good experience. (463 characters)

One of the worst beers I've ever tasted came from here. And the rudeness of the clientele is almost entertaining in its extremity. But it's still a magnificent location with a stellar beer selection and I miss it being my local hangout. Try the nachos... or any food, really. It's all amazing. (293 characters)

I live 5 minutes from Bull's Head and I'm damned appreciative of that fact! There's always something good on tap, the prices are good, the service is good, the food is top shelf and since they've expanded their seating area both inside and out, it's a nice place to hang out as well! I've had plenty of "first time" beers here and I plan on having plenty more. Well worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. (413 characters)

A place to visit in Lititz. Very much in the style of a British Pub (with some influence of a US style bar showing).

The service is first rate and the beer list is excellent.

The owner knows and understands cask beer so sometimes it is there to be found and a pint is served properly.

Service was speedy and attentive.

Did not try the food. (346 characters)

Great service, great food, great beer. I was there for the cask ale festival and was very impressed with the selection. The food is delicious. The bartender filled our growlers early when we explained that we had to go to work before the festival reopened. The pub breakfast on Saturdays is delicious. The bison burger is excellent. (332 characters)

14 beers on tap with a wide selection from rare Belgians to quality seasonal beers. Great English pub atmosphere in a small PA town. Bartenders know their beers. Willing to let you sample. Would definitely go back and stay there just to go to this place. (254 characters)

Great British pub feel-perhaps the most authentic UK pub I have seen in this country. Love the fact you have to go to the bar to order. So real in fact the couple that sat next to us wanted nothing to do with this system-hope they never go to the UK they are going to be hungry and thirsty!

Certainly all top shelf from the food to the bevereages. Maybe 10 beers on tap as well as 2 beer engines. Service was quick and attentive at the bar. Food came out piping hot. Best Scotch egg I have ever had hands down.

Well worth the detour from PA Dutch Country. Lititz is a great small town with a really friendly downtown area. Hope to be back soon. (646 characters)

Best bar I've been to. They always have Young's stout on tap, as well as quite a few rotating taps and more than 100 bottled beers. Always fantastic beer. The food is exceptional as well, I highly recommend the wings.

Very well-done English pub theme. The staff and management are excellent, they've even let me do fairly unconventional things a couple times. It's owned by the same people as the Sutter next door, one time they let us use the Sutter's patio when it wouldn't have normally been open for my friend's bachelor party.

Great food, great people, great beer. (571 characters)

Stopped at the Sutter last weekend for the Fall Cask Ale Festival, figured I would stop in the Bulls Head for some early dinner.

The vibe was pretty good. It is a pretty small place so seating is hard to come by. I got a seat at the bar and took stock of my surroundings. Lots of different things all over the walls including a large chalk board with the current beers and the entire menu. The service was very good as well. Those guys really know there stuff and have plenty of beer knowledge to go around. Prices seemed to be a tiny bit high but I am always willing to pay a bit more for better quality, and this place screams quality.

The food seems to be a mix of Gastro Pub and authentic british fare. I saw quite a few things on the menu that I would love to try but I ended up going with the Bulls Head Burger and it was top notch and tasted very good. The beer selection was pretty good. A few regional offerings and the rest from all over the world. Two cask offerings as well, I ended up going with the cask Green King/Morland Brewery ¬∑ Old Speckled Hen, and it was really good. Overall the Bulls Head is a great place to stop if you are in the area Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you do. (1,213 characters)
