A perfect place to enjoy some beer. It has an awesome pub feel. Its cozy and inviting. Not very big, and there are no tv's to distract your from your beer (or your conversation). Taps (~14) rotate pretty quickly. A lot of the usual suspects for PA, plus some rarer belgians and staples from some of the US's larger craft breweries. They have a decent size bottle selection, and there are always 2 casks that feature local PA beers and English session/real ales are always flowing. They even have their own 'Bulls Head Bitter" brewed by St. Boniface, which is quite tasty.

The food is great too. Traditional pub fare, as well as some unexpected goodies (e.g. the deviled eggs w/ candied bacon and fried oysters). It's a little on the pricey side, but the atmosphere, service, great beer and great food make it worth the visit.

Great service, great food, great beer. I was there for the cask ale festival and was very impressed with the selection. The food is delicious. The bartender filled our growlers early when we explained that we had to go to work before the festival reopened. The pub breakfast on Saturdays is delicious. The bison burger is excellent.

14 beers on tap with a wide selection from rare Belgians to quality seasonal beers. Great English pub atmosphere in a small PA town. Bartenders know their beers. Willing to let you sample. Would definitely go back and stay there just to go to this place.

Great British pub feel-perhaps the most authentic UK pub I have seen in this country. Love the fact you have to go to the bar to order. So real in fact the couple that sat next to us wanted nothing to do with this system-hope they never go to the UK they are going to be hungry and thirsty!

Certainly all top shelf from the food to the bevereages. Maybe 10 beers on tap as well as 2 beer engines. Service was quick and attentive at the bar. Food came out piping hot. Best Scotch egg I have ever had hands down.

Well worth the detour from PA Dutch Country. Lititz is a great small town with a really friendly downtown area. Hope to be back soon.

Best bar I've been to. They always have Young's stout on tap, as well as quite a few rotating taps and more than 100 bottled beers. Always fantastic beer. The food is exceptional as well, I highly recommend the wings.

Very well-done English pub theme. The staff and management are excellent, they've even let me do fairly unconventional things a couple times. It's owned by the same people as the Sutter next door, one time they let us use the Sutter's patio when it wouldn't have normally been open for my friend's bachelor party.

Great food, great people, great beer.

Stopped at the Sutter last weekend for the Fall Cask Ale Festival, figured I would stop in the Bulls Head for some early dinner.

The vibe was pretty good. It is a pretty small place so seating is hard to come by. I got a seat at the bar and took stock of my surroundings. Lots of different things all over the walls including a large chalk board with the current beers and the entire menu. The service was very good as well. Those guys really know there stuff and have plenty of beer knowledge to go around. Prices seemed to be a tiny bit high but I am always willing to pay a bit more for better quality, and this place screams quality.

The food seems to be a mix of Gastro Pub and authentic british fare. I saw quite a few things on the menu that I would love to try but I ended up going with the Bulls Head Burger and it was top notch and tasted very good. The beer selection was pretty good. A few regional offerings and the rest from all over the world. Two cask offerings as well, I ended up going with the cask Green King/Morland Brewery · Old Speckled Hen, and it was really good. Overall the Bulls Head is a great place to stop if you are in the area Trust me, you will not be disappointed if you do.

While on our way to Hershey our family and friends stopped in the town of Lititz. We took the kids to Wilburs and then Tom Sturgis both of which were excellent.
I personally think Wilbur buds to be better then Hershey kisses.
We stopped at the Bulls Head Public house for lunch.
Lancaster, Pa is a great place for beer hunting, in Amish country, who would of thought.

After reading some reviews about this place I put it on our list. This is a great little place attached to General Sutters inn which looks to be a good place to hang out for the weekend.
A hiddden gem. My buddy and I drank down a couple of bitters, it was early afternoon and still had the drive into Hershey.
Stupid me forgot to get the names of those bitters but never mine they were of excellent qualitity.
Theres about 10 taps there a great selection and at least 25 to 30 bottles.
Sorry I did not pay much mind to selection but i did see Oskar Blues G' and Troegs sunshine pils.
No waitresses and seat your self. You order by looking at a giant chalk board and turning your order into the bartender. That was different.
I had a great sheepards pie.
Punched tin ceiling with an old bike above the entrance.

All in all this is a great little gem that I look forward to coming back to tin the fall.
This would be a great base camp for beer hunting
P.S it's only about 10 miles to Stoudts which would make it perfect for Fall octoberfests.

Bulls Head: Upon entering this place is small and the decor fits there vibe. It fits what they are trying to do. A large chalkboard features there drafts and food specials. It not a huge place but it is not needed either. Best overall draft selection in Lancaster. Always rotating which makes every visit different. They have some killer brews like hop slam, KBS, Gnomegang, etc...I Like on the draft list it says size and price. I have not had food but heard good things. Very nice bottle selction, again best in Lancaster. If you are in the Lancaster area this is a must. Stop in while your wife is out shopping for Amish quilts.
