A lot of space and some wooden tables make the place look like an old saloon, aside from the flat screen TV's. There are not a whole lot of taps in this bar and half are taken up by BMC stuff but a couple of decent taps make for a decent place to have a beer and catch a game. Or you can go in the back and play a game of pool, darts, or other games. Be warned though that some games and tables are near the bathrooms and a strong urine smell sometimes wafts through the air. Barkeeper wasn't much help either though she wasn't surly by any means. All in all I'm really not too keen on going back anytime soon.

The Grand is a locals bar, popular with regulars and some of the college kids. The beer selection is typical for a neighborhood bar around here and on a recent visit featured beers from: Deschutes, Widmer, Pyramid, Stone, Lagunitas and of course the ubiquitous Hipster Deluxe. AKA as Pooties, the owners nickname, spirit based drinks are also available.

The Grand has basic bar food available, burgers, sandwiches, the usual fried goodies and surprisingly good soup. There are a couple TVs with a game usually on, but sometimes stuff like the Simpsons or a movie. There is are 2 pool tables, darts, Big Buck Hunter and pinball if you have quarters to get rid of.

The staff is friendly and efficient and the prices are reasonable (on Wednesday night the special is burger, fries and a pint of peeber for $5, upgrade to micro for a buck). While not really a destination "beer bar", Pooties is a typical neighborhood bar, for around here, that has a tap list some beer bars in other places would envy. If you're in the 'Ham and have hit all the other spots, the Grand is worth a visit.
