A - Light golden transparent brew with a very small and short lived head. There is no lace to be found anywhere on the glass. This is a nice medium golden hue, but its pretty bland looking. Is the big-boobie girl on the bottle supposed to distract us from the plain-jane liquid found inside?
S - Clean and crisp. Slightly salty, but it lacks that saltine cracker note that I expect to find in a German pils. There isn't much to smell here really.
T - This is stronger in flavor than it is in aroma. This has a nice bitter noble hop flavor with a sweet and light caramel malt note (think Worther's Originals, but diluted in a glass of water). While I wouldn't call this "hoppy" per se, hops are definitely featured in this well rounded and mellow (if a bit boring) brew.
M - Light bodied, crisp, and mildly refreshing. A little bit of sour/bitter hop notes pop up on the back of the tongue and make you want another sip.
D - This is built for session drinking on the cheap. I found a 12 pack at Meijer for $10.99 (that's less that eleven dollars!) so I broke down and bought this stuff. I would pick it up again for the same reason I did this Memorial Day weekend... to wash down a few dogs and serve to friends that "forgot" to bring their own beer.
