From the green 12 fl. oz. bottle marked 12.2014-L3523202. Sampled on May 2, 2014. I figured I would go with an old classic for my 1,700th review.
It pours pale lager yellow with a fizzy white head and active carbonation that fades away fast.
Sadly - green bottle skunkiness kicks in. But once I get beyond that I do pick up a nice dose of traditional German pale malts, toasted bread, and crackers. These other elements make the skunk more palatable.
Light to medium body.
The flavor also has those pale, toasted malts but there is also a delicate sweetness that introduces itself to the mix and a clean, dryish finish. Everyone remembers their first Girl right? Well it's not my first so I remember my last.
