I went to PBC last Thursday (4/17) afternoon and stayed for a few hours. I was really impressed for the same reason that previous reviewers were (the fantastic selection in the coolers, the low price for a mix pack, the draft selection, etc.), so just wanted to mention a few things:
1.) I don't think it's accurate to call PBC a brewpub, as they don't brew there and the PBC selections were about 5-8 beers out of thirty taps. Too my mind, it's more of a beer bar (or combo beer bar/beer store) than a brewpub.
2.) The PBC selections are not bottled and in the cooler, but you can get a growler of their beers. I bought a growler of the Mandarin Orange Hefeweisen, which my wife and I enjoyed tremendously a few days later.
3.) The food was good and a great value. I had a barbecue chicken pizza which I enjoyed.
4.) I was there during the afternoon, so it wasn't crowded, but it had a really great pub/beer enthusiast vibe to it. During the few hours I was there, I had great conversations with a bunch of different people (including a homebrew shop owner from Indy and her husband, a Raytheon employee up from Tucson, an elderly gentleman/hop fanatic from CA) and the only thing that any of us had in common was enthusiasm for beer. It's clear that people were there for the beer, and the beer made companions out of all of us. What more could you want?
5.) The PBC Taz Grand Cru and Baltic Porter were among the best I've had, anywhere.
6.) Billy the Bartender (originally from Rochester, NY) is the greatest, most knowledgeable bartender I have spoken with since when Sean Quimby manned the bar at Back Bay Brewing Company in Boston in the late 90's.
If I ever go back to Scottsdale, I would spend more time here. A lazy afternoon was great, but I would want more time.

Stopped in here after O.H.S.O. since they were so close together, I have had a few Papago beers before, I was really looking forward to checking them out. Atmosphere is kind of disjoined but still good. You have the front seating area, the bottle shop to the left, another dining area in a different room off to the left and then the bar area in the rear of the space. More and more people came in as my visit wore on, making it feel more together. Service was solid. I never had to wait for a beer and he was awesome to tall to. Selection was great. Five of their own beers on with a great verity of others crossing lots of different styles. As I had just eaten I skipped the food but the pizza looked great sitting a few people away from me. Prices were pretty good, some of the bottles to go were a little high but if I strike out in the next few weeks I may return to pick some up. Overall a really nice bar/brewery that I would definitely return to in the future, maybe even the near future.

I went there yesterday with a friend and hoping to get that Pilsner Urquell that came in a cast and was unfiltered and unpasteurized but I missed it by 1 1/2 hours. That was a drag! I know that I got there late but I was more upset that more friends wouldn't meet me there. I guess once is enough. I don't know, they have a lot of beers and several on tap but the service was bad. It was poor! I even went to the bar to see is it was self-service and a server said someone would be around. Someone did and five minutes later came back with our beers. She could have made it sooner but 4 1/2 minutes were spent talking at the bar after the beers were poured. She then couldn't remember what beers where which and had her nose practically in all of them and literally in one.
The atmosphere is that of an old bar. It is dark and fairly noisy. There are tales four, six, and more plus sitting at the bar. Several beers on tap. They say there is 30 but I think there were less. There are many bottled beers in there cooler and you could buy them to take home.
We only had beer and then left. The service, being so poor, would have taxed my patience waiting when I knew it was ready and had to wait for the server to deliver. I had been directed to enjoy the beers but to skip the food by some friends who had been there before.

This is the place to go if you are looking for beer variety. In a town that thinks Blue Moon is a premium beer Papago Brewing stands alone. The have hundreds of bottled craft beers to choose from and 30 beers on tap. They serve the beers in their correct glass according to the style of the beer. I got the Bear Republic Cafe Racer 15 Double IPA on tap which came in a sniffer glass. It was during happy hour so I got three for like $20 with tax and tip.

Pretty nice. Stopped after business trip based on Beer Advocate reviews, and glad I did. Fairly old bar feel. Upbeat. Sports TV. Bottle shop and good people. Beer was worth the trip. Nice variety with styles not noticed in other Phoenix area breweries. Bar/servers had no problem with bringing multiple samples to my table. Good, knowledgeable conversation. Food was ok. All in all a stop worth making.

I love this place. The best brewery in the city (perhaps state, still need to try them all).
Atmosphere: A great place to hit up after work, or meet some friends on the weekend. It may get a bit loud sometimes (particularly Friday and Saturday nights). Generally friendly folk.
Quality: Great quality. Food, beer (on draft and bottles) is all top-notch.
Service: Generally good, though may be slow during busy hours.
Selection: Amazing. Rotating taps change daily. Their own best beers are, for the most part, mainstays on their menu (Orange Blossom, Coconut Joe, Elsie's Milk Stout....bring back the black IPA!).
Food: Fantastic pizza and wraps.
Value: Reasonable prices.
