Pours an effervescent honey/gold color with a sliver of pearl colored head. Stays effervescent throughout, minimal lacing & no head retention

S: Pears & a little bit of perfumy hops,

T: Pears, woody hops, white grapes up front. More pears, white grapes, a little leafy hop & dryness as this warms. Finishes crisp, dry with winesap apples & pears

MF: Medium bodied, slight carbonation, pretty slick as this warms

Not bad, but after trying 3 from these guys, I'm not too thrilled either. Will try more if I can something more interesting from these guys. So far, I could take or leave these guys, but they are good introductions to the styles they are doing...

A - poured orange-yellow, slightly cloudy. Not much head but substantial lace down glass
S - earthy breadiness but somewhat tame maltiness. A little hint of citrus (maybe even strawberries), yeasty.
T - really get a wheaty, straw-like presence with the citrus (mostly orange zest) coming through. Not much hoppiness except for a slight bitterness as it rolls down your throat.
M - excellent light-bodied mouthfeel. It almost "rushes" down your palate.
O - fairly solid beer for what it is. As someone who has (and still) participated in the real "courir de mardi gras", this would be a very solid option on a hayride or horseback. While the taste lacks any "wow factor", this beer is super easy to drink and would go great for a day of reveling the countryside and chasing chickens. Pleasant surprise!

A: Clear, dark golden amber. Decent head that dissipates quickly. Decent lacing thoughout glass. Little carbonation.

S: wheat-y. small bitterness detected. light citrus. Lots of nothing... just a bit of any light beer you have ever tasted.

T: Subtle. good crisp beginning. lots of wheat taste. back end leaves bubbles... light fruit.

M: waxy at times. Overall, the mouthfeel is full bodied and wonderful from sip to finish.

O: I hope they keep up this Mardi-gras type. Having been to mardi gras, this would be a good change of pace from the cheep beer everyone chugs or the heavy alcoholic drinks everyone is throwing back.
