April 7th, 2015 - The oddly named and slightly off putting Man's Milk from Noble Ale is a sleek and abyssal beer. Intimidating and dire looking, the brew is abysmally black, beyond inkiness, and instead devouring light from around the pint glass. And the top has all the smoothness one would expect from a nitro beer. The aroma has a tough of nuttiness, and much of the roasted readiness of Guinness, and the body is super smooth. Not nearly as thin as Guinness, it is much sweeter than the old classic, too, occupying a spot somewhere halfway between dark chocolate and milk chocolate, but with a whipped merengue softness.
