A: Coffee aroma upfront followed by roasted malts.
A: Black, quite opaque with a very thin head.
F: Coffee flavor, followed by roast and slight bitterness.
M: light-bodied, light carbonation, smooth but not quite silky.
O: Lots of flavor and body for being so sessionable. Quite easy to drink and very approachable. Solid straight forward sessionable coffee oatmeal stout.

September 19th, 2015 - I never get to actually have these breakfast stouts at breakfast, but I can see the appeal. This is an earthy and meaty brew, that smells like wet earth, compost and earth worm detritus, plus cheap coffee grounds and blistered peppers. A breakfast at a diner somewhere in New Mexico. The flavor is very similar to the smell, but the coffee grounds taste is dominant in the aftertaste. Odd, and unappealing sounding as I write it out, but overall quite good.

on tap @ Blue Palms, 9-19-15.
Pours a nice black stout color with a tan head.
aroma is coffee, malt, toffee and toasted nut.
taste is excellent, coffee forward, and toasted malt.
oatmeal really smooths it out.
another outstanding effort from Noble.

Smell leans in the coffee and cigarettes direction. I would like a little more body. Coffee flavor is well integrated.
