750 ml bottle poured into a tulip.
A: Poured a deep brown with a short brownish head that fades to a splotchy lacing on the glass.
S: Very sweet, with lots of brown sugar notes, some caramel and toffee. Inviting on the nose and the sweetness dominates any earthy notes.
T: Not as sweet as the nose but brown sugar, sweet malt and touches of alcohol come through. A bit of hops but the malt overpowers for sure, a nice sweetness dominates.
M: Medium bodied with mild carbonation and this drinks very smooth. Very little alcohol burn and sweet but not in a cloying way. It was pretty easy to drink the bottle over the course of a little over an hour.
O: A really good beer here from Covington Brewhouse. Don't love the style but this is good!
