Pale yellow colour, slight haze, no head, no lace. Smell is malt and citrus, wheat, some honey. Taste is malty, with some honey, and lots of citrus, very refreshing. Smooth, high carbonation, medium body, somewhat bland, but not bad at all. Worth a try if in PEI.

Pours a clear copper body with half an inch of pearly white head that quickly decays to a thin film. The scent is mildly phenolic, with some light peppery hops, toasty wheat malt, and fruity aromas of pear and apple, quite nice. The taste definitely has a light sweetness, with some more of those same fruity notes, along with some mild hop bitterness and earth. Very clean finish and overall mouthfeel. Definitely a nice summer day beer, I like it.

I'm a huge Sir John guy so naturally I had to buy a 4 pack at the liquor store in my tiny hometown.
Nothing about this beer stands out to me..a very slight haze to the straw colour, slight grainy nose with only the faintest whiff of honey. Taste is strictly middle of the road except I found it to be rather sweet and slightly cloying in the middle.
as per other reviewers comments it is an unremarkable, but quite drinkable offering. Having said that I doubt i'd try it again.

It's nice to see our perennially soused founding father get a beer named in his honour. Unfortunately, my feeling is that this stuff is neither strong enough or flavourful enough that it would have done the job for the old drunk.
Which is not to say this is terrible. As another reviewer pointed out, there's something "enjoyable macro" about this beer in the best possible way--light, inoffensive, stupidly drinkable. If this is what macro tasted like, I might have never explored craft.
Pale colour, soapy foam that recedes to nothing. Decent amount of floral, flaked whet flavours. Light honey. Some berry-like fruity esters (the yeast, I'm guessing?). Light biscuity malt. Light body. Slight sour tang with some faint citrus.
It ain't the worst!
