On tap at the brewpub the other day.

The beer pours a golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. Don't get very much on the nose, just some light dry citrus and maybe a hint of malt and/or honey. While the nose was a bit reticent I thought, the beer delivered plenty of flavor on the palate. There was plenty of grapefruit in this delightfully light, lean IPA, and the finish was refreshingly bitter. Mouthfeel was pretty light, but the finish was clean, long and bitter. This is a very easy to enjoy IPA, and I loved the 5% abv.

The taste was filled with fruitiness and the hop flavor you desire in an IPA. The mouth-feel wasn't as carbonated as I prefer, but it didn't keep me from enjoying a second helping. Gilgamesh is a fantastic local brewer, and competes well with in taste with other local brewers like Santiam!
