I've spent several nights here recently, mostly for happy hour with the co-workers. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect for a bar in this area of Columbus, but honestly a little too loud for me. The space is nicely set up, but can get slightly crowded during happy hour, and packed at night.
I was also here for a Great Lakes tap takeover, where they released the first keg of Alchemy Hour in Central Ohio, and had several pub exclusive beers on-tap. The selection that night was great, but other times it's simply mediocre compared to what I'm looking for.
I had chicken wings on my most recent trip, and they weren't too bad, although slightly overpriced (if not for happy hour pricing). I've seen plenty of other tings ordered, and the menu looks pretty diverse. Could be better, as always, but not too disappointing.
In the end, it's a decent place to hang out during happy hour, and offers a little something for the beer lover, as well as good things for those who aren't into craft beer. Happy hour pricing is pretty good, and other times, it isn't too overly priced.

This was my first stop on the old North Short bar crawl. I was quite hopefull and ready to kick of the session with a nice beer bar. I was sadly mistaken.
They had arpound 12 beers on draft but only three or four were of note. I chose the Bluegrass Bourbon County Stout (See below).
The bar was packed due to the NE/NYJ game (the Jets won by the way) so I saddled up to a seat on the end of the bar. I was quickly approached by the tender and was asked my preference for beers. Upon questioning, the bartender knew nothing about beer and I was on my own resources as far as beer selection. When questioned on the KBC beer, the bartender wasnt sure if the beer in question was an imperial stout or a regular stout. I hate when bartenders dont know the beers they serve.
My true pint was $6 which isnt bad. I doubt I would come back here. Lack of knowledge and the beer selection do not deserve repeat business. It was good for one visit, but not for anymore.

Went across the street for a drink after working. Atmosphere isn't too bad, music is almost too loud to think though but with a bar in the short north it isn't that surprising. Selection is decent, but nothing special. Bell's Two Hearted and Oberon and Dogfish 60 minute are on tap with a couple bottles including Duvel and 90 minute worth a go. Service was good, but we were sitting at the bar so it might have been a little different if it were otherwise. My buddy got some food that looked pretty good, but I skipped out this time.

This is a newer addition to Columbus's Short North. Ive been curious for some time now so I went here for lunch today.
The inside is spacious, more so than many other spots in the area. To the left is a huge booth that goes along the entire wall. There are tables lined up along it. Everywhere else there are high tops that seat 4. The bar is very long with two sets of taps. The interior is modern with deep reds and black.
The beers are written on two large chalkboards above the bar. One side is the drafts and the other half is for the bottles.
Selection is not surprising but not horrible. Bell's Two Hearted and Oberon, a couple Great Lakes, DFH 60 and 90, CBC Pale Ale, Bluegrass Brewing Co, Duvel bottles and a few others that didnt really catch my eye.
Food was good but not spectacular. I had one of the many burgers. The best part about the menu is the fries. You can substitute cajon, ranch, sweet potato and house seasoned fries with your sandwich.
Im glad I got to check this place out but I dont really think it will stand out in my memory for very long.
