Slightly hazed gold with a solid head of foam. Sticky enough but a bit brittle. Nose is coarse hops, some cooked corn. Fairly acidic, but with a slick, smooth mouthfeel. Flavour is definitely on the light side though. Some lemon and husky grain come to mind. There's some green, grassy hop and a very lightly bitter finish. It is however, refreshing and drinkable.

Lightly chilled .5L bottle into a shaker pint. Bottling date 8.11.12

Look- Hazy blonde-amber with tons of frothy eggshell foam that falls within a minute or two. Decent lacing.

Smell- Mild, Bready, lightly floral, a little bit sweet, subtle spice. Nice.

Taste- Quite similar to the aroma, light cidery sweetness perfectly balances mandarin orange, dry toast, and white tea flavors.

Mouthfeel- Light-medium body, soft carbonation, mild acidic feel. Exceptional drinkability- I could drink this all day.

Overall- Very nice; a clean, refreshing, and subtly intriguing beer. Away and above your average blonde. Highly recommended.

A - The beer pours with one finger of white foam on a clear, golden body. The head settles quickly and leaves light lace.

S - Some sweet malt and a grainy character.

T - Light, sweet malt up front, some tartness in the middle and a bit of herbal hop character in the finish.

M - Medium body moderately low carbonation and a slightly dry finish.

D - Light and drinkable, not much else to say about this beer.

500ml bottle.

A- Decent lacing. Head was nice right after the pour but is now a nice ring. Hazy liquid is a very pale gold. A lot of brown yeast at the bottle of the bottle. Left the bottle upside down for a few minutes to get about half of it in at the last pour. Very sticky stuff.

S- Sniffed the bottle opening and got a hoppy applesauce.
In glass: A fun different smell. I think it's guava juice. Then as the head recedes so does the guava smell and I instead get grain and hops, a bit like pilsner. Grain is also a bit nutty. Peanut maybe. As it warmed I got cream soda. After dumping in the yeast sediment, it smelled like brewers yeast caplets.

T-Like a pilsner with toned down I.P.A. type hops. A bit metallic again reminds me of those german pilsners sold in cans. Kind of sour. I think I might taste a little adjunct. Not sure. Definitely not sickening like a macro. The hops add a good complexity. This beer is ''different''. After dumping in the yeast sediment, it had a brewers yeast caplet taste.

M- Light bodied. Dry finish. High carbonation.

D- High. I think any macro drinker would love this.

Very interesting. The fact that it's certified organic is cool too. I would recommend it to lots of people but mostly to those who refuse to drink craft. Very fun to taste as it is simple but you feel like there are still many levels of taste.
I'd buy it again... maybe for a tasting with macro drinkers. Or even if I was in the mood for it at the store.

Poured a lovely hazy shade of amber with a wonderfully full head that stuck around.Tons of lazing.

Smell - Slightly medicinal with some cloves, not overpowering.
Taste - Smooth maltiness with a nice balance of hops. Cloves, white pepper with a lemon tang. Almost like a low-alcohol tripple.

Overall - nice beer, nice fine carbonation and easy to drink. Would love to try this out of a tap.

Pale, almost white, quite cloudy; Generous head that leaves lots of lace on the glass.

This is a hopless smelling beer. Given the glass, it is difficult to smell anything except something similar to wheat.

Woah, where did the hop come from? This is hopped like a good pale ale. No wheat in the flavor--in fact, this is a dry beer with a dry finish. Low malt...light body with a high carbonation level that is reminiscent of a soda.

Drank at the brewpub in Quebec City. Very light golden colour with a small white head. Fruity malt aroma with a brushing of hops. Light in flavour, and angled more towards malt than hops. Tad watery. A decent enough light beer, with nothing special to distinguish itself from the rest of the crowd. Probably sessionable on a hot day.

Purchased a bottle of this in Gatineau when I was grabbing every La Barberie beer I could see. Not particularly impressed with this one... Weakish Plain Jane aroma with a little bit of field/cloverlike hops. Taste is unmemorable, although fairly clean with very little aftertaste. Bit weak in the body as well.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a nice big foamy head with great retention. Aroma of malt is bit dry with some subtle floral hops also discernable. Taste is refreshing with a nice malt presence and some subtle floral hops. Body is a bit above average and carbonation is sufficient. This beer is good for the style and good thirst quencher overall.

A nice golden beer with a great white foamy head that let itself dies slowly on the glass, very nice to the eyes. A nice appearance indeed. Smell more of malt than hops, some fruit notes are also perceived.

The taste hits you very unbalance, crude, hops and water nothing much more, no more aromas come to tickles the sense in this beer. An oily touch come tickles the palate actually I do like the mouthfeel of this beer. Unfortunately this beer lacks some character for my taste.
