Clearly infected, and not "in a good way" as some Untappd reviews have claimed.

375 mL bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Black. Inky black. Thin collar. No head. The collar is a dark mocha, though.

Smell - Bourbon. Dark chocolate and coffee roasted malts. Bourbon gets more intense as it warms.

Taste - Bourbon is intense, but the stout comes through. Dark chocolate. Coffee. Nutty malts in the back. Oaky vanilla finish. Heavy roasted malt presence lingers into the finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Medium low carbonation. Boozy.

Overall - I have no complaints. Really impressive.

Pour is black with a decent amount of tight dark caramel colored head. Nose is very light bourbon barrel with notes of olive, some milk chocolate, light malt sweetness. Very much like madness 1. Body is full, well carbonated, semi dry finish, thick and creamy with a soft palate. Flavors are a bit richer and has a hint more maltiness to it. Bourbon barrel is a bit stronger in the flavor, notes of milk chocolate and a touch of cake batter get taken over by a lot of malt sweetness in the back.

A Pours pitch black into the glass where a 1 finger dark brown head forms. Nice retention in the head. Looks great.

S Big roast, wood, sweet chocolate, some coconut and booze. Really nice as it warms. Last few warm ounces has a raisin and port like scent.

T Big char along with chocolate and wood. Rich chocolate fudge and a nice roast from front to back with a sweet vanilla and oak finish. Bourbon is noticeable but is integrated nicely. Gets sweeter as it warms.

M Thicker feel with medium to light carbonation. Drinks like a nice stout.

O Very nice beer. Everything gets better as it gets to room temp, let this one breathe.

375ml bottle poured into a taster snifter and some out of the bottle haha!

A~ black as night of course... tan head and hardly any lacing.

S~ wow! smooth roasty malts of Everett along with the amazing vanilla bourbon aspects of Damon.

T~a tad bit of heat up front not unbearable. other than that this is exactly what you expect, the perfect blend of Damon and Everett! roasty malts, bitter dark chocolate, a little burnt coffee, vanilla, caramel, and some nice oak notes.

M~ definitely thinner than i thought it would be but oh sooo smooth! nice carb as well!

O~ yup thats a blend of Damon and Everett alright! pretty much exactly what you would expect which never happens! they got this one dead on! like the rest in this series a little age couldn't hurt to dial back the heat a bit but other than that i have no complaints! mmm...!

Bottle shared by mendvicdog. Thanks Pat!

The beer is dark brown with a thin beige collar. The aroma offers roast, chocolate, vanilla, booze, spice, maybe a hint of cinnamon? Very tasty. A little more alcohol heat than is customary for Hill Farmstead. Vanilla character with some tannic notes. Very good.

375ml bottle poured into HF stemmed wine glass. Consumed right after the first two bottles in the series.

A- Pours a dark black with a thin creamy mocha head that recedes fairly fast leaving a wispy top and some very thin lacing.

S- Aromas of dark fruit, bourbon, chocolate, and oak. Lightly sweet smelling and not overly aromatic.

T- Sweet milk chocolate, very well integrated bourbon, slight espresso, hint of vanilla, finishes with light fudge. Complex and well balanced however I think Everett takes over a little bit too much.

M- Extremely smooth, light carbonation, very drinkable.

O- MC3 is a fantastic stout however I prefer regular Damon slightly over this. The Everett adds a nice complexity but overpowers the Damon slightly. This is definitely worth tracking down but I probably wouldn't give up the cellar for it.
