Served on draft, taken from notes. Into a stemmed tulip.
A - Super hazy orange in body. Looks very much like Blue Moon for easy reference. Fluffy white head. This one's a looker. Photo of the pour. http://tinyurl.com/74ns3g9
S - Citrus rind, grapefruit, mango. Awesome aroma. Could be a bit more pungent, but then again it's only a Pale.
T - Follows the nose. Big citrus notes with clean grapefruit. A touch or mango-style fruit note. Malt backbone cleans everything up. Outstanding.
M - Great creamy texture. Not sure how Hill Farmstead conditions their beers but this works perfectly.
O - Just a fantastic Pale Ale. If you were to make Zombie Dust more bitter and flavorful, you would end up with Edward. Very similar notes and flavors, just a bit more pronounced. Absolutely wonderful.

Poured into HF stemware
A-Frothy white head with some mild retention. Thick lacing that quickly runs down the side of glass. light golden hazy beer.
S-Aroma hits as soon as the growler was opened. Aroma is strong and is a precursor of things to come. Lots of sweet smelling hops. Tropical fruits. Peach, oranges, mango. some grapefruit and faint pine
T-not as sweet as the nose at least at first but may change as it warms. Peach, orange, grapefruit, lemon/lime, some bitterness. flavors really pop as there is something about the beer that makes the flavors very bright and upfront. some maltiness to keep the hops in check. Bit of a bitter finish with some lingering pine and bitterness
M-medium bodied beer with ample carbonation. leaves you with a mouthful of flavor
O-strong showing here easy to see why this breweries beers are in such high demand
Serving type: growler
