Big thanks to TCassel1 for the HF hookup. Growler poured into a tulip.
A: Pours a rather murkey, pale orangish, yellow color. Big two finger off white head, nice retention, and big, thick lace.
A: Pine, and grapefruit. Huge hoppy nose, with a nice malt backbone to try and give this one some semblence of balance. The hops are fresh, smell great and actually give the beer a greenish tint to it.
T: Again, all about the hops, there has to be atleast 5 different varieties in there. This has got to be the bitterest beer that has ever touched my lips, but it's pretty darn good. Notes of orange peel, lemon, and pine sap. It finishes somewhat sweet.
M: Medium body, good levels of carbonation. The flavors dance around the palate nicely.
O: The nose is great, and this would be an A+ beer if not for the overpowering bitterness. I am a hophead, but this one almost pushes the envelope to far. But all in all another very good beer from HF. Skal.
