Pale orange color, cloudy with a small white head that leaves moderate lacing.
Great aroma. Very fruity and complex. I pick up papaya and grapefruit with a touch of pine and spice. Very inviting!
Crisp, juicy taste with orange and other citrus flavors riding on a firm, dry bready malt base. Nice dry finish with a bit of spicy bitterness punctuating the final impression.
Medium mouthfeel with a firm body and good carbonation. Really quite delicious. A great showcase for the citra hop, but also a well made tasty beer on the whole. This is probably my favorite of the Hill Farmstead single hop series to date.
Serving type: growler
