Poured from the 500ml bottle into a Tulip - thanks to SilentJay for this one.
A: Pours jet black, while I didnt make it too hard of a poor, hardly any tan head appears, just a rim that disappates pretty quickly.
S: Chocolate, Coffee, Roasted Malts, a hint of Vanilla. No real booze smell as expected for a 7.5%.
T: As it smells, everything comes through quite nicely. Very balanced porter, a slight hop biterness comes through that reminds me a little of Founders Imperial Stout.
M: Full bodied, mild carbonation. Very rich
O: Absolutely wonderful porter, especially given that its readily available at the brewery from what I hear. I could drink plenty of these and drink them often. Another stellar beer from HFS.

Thanks to Ineedabeerhere for sharing his VT booty. Pours one shade shy of black. Nose is roasty and chocolatey with a hint of lactose. Taste follows nose with a slight smokiness and a light hops bittering at the finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium with an even carbonation and a slightly silky finish. Overall, an amazing porter with a great balance and flavor profile. A wonderful American porter.
