On-tao at the Farmhouse in Burlington.

Beer is opaque golden yellow. Moderately-sized solid white head.

Nose is not strong. Pine, some spicy notes.

Taste is good, but not thrilling. Citrus, pine, a bit spicy. Moderately bitter. A bit of bready malt. Nice, but not a flavour explosion by any means.

Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.

Overall, good, and quite solid, but not in the same league as Edward, the only other APA I have had from Hill Farmstead. My taste buds may have been a bit out of whack given that I had a glass of Double Sunshine immediately beforehand, but this one didn't particularly impress me.

Growler to Hill Farmstead glass...as it should be consumed.

From notes. Thanks to CharlieMurphy for sending this amongst other HF treats in a wonderful trade!

A: Off golden yellow. 1.5 (white) fingernail head on medium pour.

S: Loads of citrus and pine with very earthy hop character. Can definitely tell it was brewed with Amarillo hops.

T: Much like it taste with a wonderful balance and just a touch of bitterness, which is just right.

M: Medium bodied/carbonation.

O: Another very nice offering from this brewery! Not the best I have had from them, but definitely worth trying if you can get your hands on some.
