Thanks to my awesome fiance for picking this up for me on his last trip to Vermont. Nice to try something special that I don't get to see everyday.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with tinges of warm orange. Completely opaque with a decent bit of sediment floating low in the glass. The most notable feature, however, is the huge, airy, rocky, porous head - it's at least 4 fingers tall and started in the bottle when it was opened, flowing over the sides. It's practically sculptural and stays around for at least a few minutes before collapsing on itself. Tons of thick foamy lace sticks to the walls throughout the whole drink.

Nose is full of tangy, fruity yeast. Soft notes of lemongrass are cut with the notable presence of a slightly sour funk of wet hay.

So complex but still soft and balanced somehow. The effervescence is out of this world and perfect with the flavors on the beer. It's so light and full. It's very herbal, like lemongrass and chamomile and parsley. The yeast is fruity and pungent, and the slightest bit of funk only serves to fill out the body rather than dampen the flavor. Exceptionally tasty for such a light body. The finish is pleasingly drying and clean.

Could definitely drink this all day. It's refreshing and tasty and fragrant with such a nice contradictory simple complexity. Would love to have another opportunity to enjoy this one. It's so drinkable that it's hard to savor.

750ml bottle poured into a HF tulip.

Pours a hazy straw color with a small white head with some thin white lacing. Nose is funky and tart a bit of grassy early flavors.

Taste is soap, lavender, and Brett all day. Super dry and bretty on he finish. Its just not quite there since it was fresh. Has nothing on the first one.

Thanks for sharing Skrip!

A- Pours a bright, hazy orange with a huge plume of white foam that leaves lots of lacing. Head retains great!

S- Smells intensely of brett funk, horse blanket, and wheat. Some subtle bright citrus as well. A touch of spiciness.

T- The brett funk and spiciness are really what dominate here. The barnyard hay funkiness and horse blanket are big players, along with a lot of wheat and spice. There's only the slightest hint of citrus, but really all the flavors are pretty subtle.

M- the mouth feel is super carbonated, medium thickness, and very dry.

O- Overall this was a very nice blended saison, but it could have been a bit more bold/complex flavor wise. I know saisons tend to be subtle, but this was almost bland at points. It was still very pleasant and easy to drink.

Huge thanks to imagineiii and aapp for bottles of this. Can't wait to see how it evolves.

Served in a Hill Farmstead long-stem tulip.

Pours a slightly-hazed light golden color with a huge, frothy white head with great retention and really nice lacing on the way down. Sheet of lacing. The nose brings some light acidity and lemon plus a bit of citrus. Some tropical fruit and wheat as well. The flavor has a nice bit of earth and light funk plus a very faint lemony acidity. Great hop presence and a bit of Brett. Really fantastically blended. Simply awesome.

Bottle split with Arthur. Snifter.

A: Straw yellow with perfect clarity and a mountain of white sea foam. Retention is impressive and lacing is all over the glass.

S: I get some straw with pronounced lemon notes. There's a little earth-like funk with leather and a touch of mineral. Phenols are lightly spicy and reminiscent of pepper. Floral notes are evident.

T: Wheat, straw, and earth with a light mineral presence and a touch of leather. There's a faint pepper-like spiciness. There's a good deal of lemon in the flavor. The finish has a light bitterness.

M: Light in body with lower high carbonation.

Overall: Nice stuff. Highly drinkable...dare I say sessionable? Regardless, it rids one of one's perishing thirst.
