A bigger 2 finger white head that has great rentention. Hazy yellow and orange body that looks pretty nice. A ton of lacing is left all around the glass after the head finally came down. Very close to 5

S Tropical fruits take charge. Pineapple, tangerine and oranges and other fruits make this scent really really nice.

T Nice sweetness throughout and the bittering hops pick up toward the end. Stays sweeter all the way through while the bitterness lays low. The tropical tastes are unbelievable but would like a little more bitterness. With that said, still an unbelievable IPA.

M Medium feel with similar medium carbonation on the tongue. Drinks really well.

O Really nice IPA. I didnt really have any expectations for the Nor and this made me smile. Would like some more bitterness in the taste but still a top notch DIPA. Another great IPA from Shaun and the rest of Hill Farmstead.

Shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael.

The beer is hazy and yellow with a thin white head. The aroma offers booze, tropical fruits, hops. Good flavor, smooth on the palate with some warming alcohol throughout. Tropical fruits are pleasant, but somewhat masked by booze. Still, a nice flavor. Lingering fruit, booze, and just a mild bitterness. Another solid beer from Hill Farmstead, though not among my favorites from this brewery.

***revisited this beer on my current vacation through the lovely state of Vermont. This review is a drastic upgrade - wow, what a beer - and close to the source.

On draft at Prohibition Pig in Waterbury, VT.

The beer appears a radiant, golden yellow hue, like the sun. Beautiful color. The head is approximately an inch thick, appearing pure white and leaving a thick sheet of sticky lacing on the snifter. The aroma offers a bouquet of citrus. Tropical notes including mango, pineapple, oranges. The flavor is simply outstanding. Wow. A tropical fruit bomb with nary a hint of alcohol. A delicate bitterness in the finish with lingering citrus and hops. Stunning. Medium bodied and chuggable. I highly recommend this brew.

Nor pours a murky straw yellow with a two finger creamy white head on top. Looks like a hefeweizen. The foam fades away slowly to a thick sheet on the surface, leaving behind a netted pattern of lace.

The aroma is loaded with grapefruit and lemon citrus with some grass and pine mixed in.

Each sip of this full bodied beer is smooth and creamy with light carbonation. The flavor is full of hops and fruity notes with a nice light malt background. Grapefruit and lemon citrus blend nicely with mango and tangerine. Sweet pale malt lingers in the background. It finishes moderately bitter with grass and pine notes. Once gone the mango and grapefruit citrus linger on the palate.

This beer is so smooth it goes right down. You don't realize it's over 9% abv until you finish your pint. Fantastic hoppy flavor with enough malt sweetness to balance it out.

Flip-top growler filled exactly one week ago. Beautifully hazy straw color, good head & lace, strong retention. Fruity hops, pine, citrus, malt, pineapple and grapefruit aroma.

This beer really shines as it approaches room temperature. Copious amounts of citrus fruits blend with the aggressively hopped base, yet the huge malt backbone brings balance to the force. Slightly sweet through the middle, finishing with juicy fruits and hops. Remarkably well balanced.

Yet another home run from HF. We need a pipeline from Greensboro Bend to Brooklyn ASAP!

Picked this up over 2 weeks ago at the Hill Farmstead bottle release. Nifty 750ml bottles are a good bargain!

Pours a cloudy golden orange with a thin head into my Hill Farmstead tasting glass. Lacing lines the edges of the glass.

Pine, grapefruit and minty are aromas that come to mind. If aroma is any indication, this is going to be a good one.

Light and crisp textures bring forth a good mix of grapefruit and mango from the hops. The malt isn't to be forgotten either as it contributes to the drinkability.

Lingering citrus and sweet malt. It literally mellows out in your mouth.

This is a beer that strikes a good balance between a hoppy and malty DIPA. It's a lovely sipping beer and I should mention that it warms the throat as well.
