750ml poptop Growler poured into a Duvel tulip.

Pours a hazy yellow to orange color with a small white head. Nose is licorice, fruit and a light earthy hop.

Taste is all tangarine juice, citrus and bright fruit. Super tasty and hoppy but not too bitter but super drinkable. Very good beer kind of out of nowhere too.

A bigger 2 finger white head that has great rentention. Hazy yellow and orange body that looks pretty nice. A ton of lacing is left all around the glass after the head finally came down. Very close to 5

S Tropical fruits take charge. Pineapple, tangerine and oranges and other fruits make this scent really really nice.

T Nice sweetness throughout and the bittering hops pick up toward the end. Stays sweeter all the way through while the bitterness lays low. The tropical tastes are unbelievable but would like a little more bitterness. With that said, still an unbelievable IPA.

M Medium feel with similar medium carbonation on the tongue. Drinks really well.

O Really nice IPA. I didnt really have any expectations for the Nor and this made me smile. Would like some more bitterness in the taste but still a top notch DIPA. Another great IPA from Shaun and the rest of Hill Farmstead.

Yay, a new Hill Farmstead DIPA treat!

A: Pours hazy orange with nearly 2 fingers of white fluffy head. Moderately good head retention, leaves a ton of lacing.

S: Fresh hop juice. HUGE tropical fruits: Pineapple, mango, a little grapefruit. Lots of pine, some floral notes, and just a touch of herbal dankness. Pungent with a sweet candy aroma in the background. Can't wait to get into this one.

T: For the first time ever, a HFS beer doesn't taste as good as the nose. More herbal and dank than the nose suggested, the pine and grapefruit are more forefront. Moderate to light bitterness for the style. Touch of sweetness, though it does have a slight candy quality. Dry and piney finish.

M: Medium body, moderate to slightly high carbonation. Crisp finish. Extremely resinous. Not all that clean, though fairly drinkable for a 9% DIPA.

O: This is probably the least favorite DIPA I've had from Shaun... though it's still damned good and better than what most brew.

Fantastic fresh growler from today's Hill Farmstead release.

Incredible appearance that is a cloudy yellow hay with degrees of radiance. Grapefruit in color. Just incredible.

Smeels are Floral, grapefruit, lemony, incredibly balanced. Slightly buttery as well. Very bright.

Super slick mouthfeel in a very good way. The head is like cake batter and just lingers. Incredible taste - hops are exploding. Super creamy, buttery. Really well balanced.

As a non IPA person this is amazing. On par with any double IPA available
