750ml Growler picked up at the brewery two days ago. Pours a nice lightly hazy orange and capped by a bit of white sticky head.
Tropical and citrus fruits are right up front on the nose. A bit floral as well. First sip is refreshingly fruity with your typical grapefruit and orange notes packing quite the punch. Bitterness is there but it's certainly not the palate crusher some HF DIPAs are. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium bodied.
Overall, another tasty DIPA from Hill Farmstead as expected. It's getting tough now though to differentiate between all the different Society and Solitude beers. Jucicy, citrusy hops seem to dominate all the ones I've had so far so even with the best of note taking, it's hard to pick a favorite.

Had a single draft at the Mule Bar in Winooski for eight dollars. My eighth brew reviewed from these guys. Very good, but not one of their best beers.

3 months old. Can to wine glass.
L: Pours an opaque orangeish yellow with a fluffy white head that leaves a good amount of lacing. No floaters.
S: Ripe orange and grapefruit with some piney, woody hints. A bit of mango as well.
T: Orange, mango and peach. A bit piney, grassy and herbal. Both hoppy and malty. Not as sweet as its smell. Minimally zesty and a bitter finish.
F: Full and creamy. Low carbonation.
O: Nice East Coast/ West Coast hybrid IPA uniting fruity citrus notes with piney and grassy hints. As always, great craftsmanship from HF.
