This food co-op has a good selection of solely craft beer (not an AB in sight) at reasonable prices. A fair amount six packs and a good selection of bombers as well. They also have a decent selection of more expensive beers you don't find as often in this area.
If you're lucky enough to be there when you see an employee stocking shelves, more than likely they have a fair knowledge of their product so don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise you'll get normal grocery help.
This is definitely one of the few places around you can get some other-than-grocery-store labels. The constantly rotating and sometimes expanding stock makes this a frequent spot to check-in and see what's new.

This is a really pleasant store, extremely clean and well-lit with skylights. The selection is not large, but it's well chosen. I always find something interesting here. I particularly liked the 32 oz growlers they have from Kulshan, three different brews. They have local beers as well as some other less common Washington and Oregon beers. There always seem to be some unusual imports as well.
They also have a bunch of allegedly organic and low-gluten brews, if you're into that. I didn't seek out a staff person for any questions, but everyone seems really polite and eager to please.
It's easy to find if you are coming up the main street north from Fairhaven. The new location of Aslan Brewing is at the end of the next block north to make another local stop.

The Food Coop has been steadily improving their selection over the last couple of years. A recent visit had a nice selection of local, regional, national and international brands. Boundary Bay, Green Flash, Elysian, Pike, Beer Valley, Laughing Dog, Deschutes and many more are on the shelves. A recent visit found a vertical of '07, '08 and '09 Pike Old Bawdy Barleywine 22s for $10 a bottle.
You can also grab food to go from the deli, or buy food to take home to cook. I often grab the small fruit pies, very tasty. If you're in the area, or just visiting, the coop is a worthy stop.
