First, this place is a short bike ride from my apartment. Yip Yip Yippeeee.

How great it is to have a place like this so close by. I go there for lunch, an afternoon beer, dinner, late dinner, late night beers, Laker games - basically any old time and it is realiably very good every time.

I almost gave this place a perfect score but I deducted a fe points for the ordering system. I wish they had table service. Sometimes, especially Fridays it gets so busy that you need to line up to order beer and food. If the line is 2 minutes then ok, but when the line is 20 minutes it makes me not want to stand there at all. Busy bar, i get it.

Great staff and great beer selection and highly under rated food.

Go to Tony's just not on Fridays.

A+++

When I moved from Glendale to Long Beach on January 1st, I was sad to leave my family and friends to chase the almighty dollar thinking, it's only an hour away, it's not like I'm moving out of state.
I miss all of them but not nearly as much as I miss Tony's. This was my home away from home. I was back there last night for the first time in 2011 and I am seriously thinking of moving back to LA.
People talk about the beer and the food and games all the time but what makes this place so great is the people. Paige is the manager, she is the best. Always friendly and smiling and brimming with beer knowledge to share or current events to discuss. Keith is one of my favorite bartenders ever but he only works a shift or 2 a week. The owner, Tony, is there a lot of the time and he always takes the time to say hi even though it seems he has a million things going on.

The beer is the best on the area. The food is dangerously delicious. The seats are comfy and the crowd is cool.

I resisted reviewing TDA because I wanted it to be my little secret but the word is out, so no point in hoarding.

A holy place of the valley. Very chill, woodsy atmosphere full of brew books and hip signs. Amazing taps (up to date by the minute on their website). Hard to get stuff, all California beers and vegan food (vegan sausages to die for, and non-vegan sausage available as well). Sweet potato fries. A couple of dart boards, a pool table, 70's music, an IPA lover's dream. Perfect serving temps, great bartenders. Knowledgeable staff, accessible owner. Tasters available. My favorite place to drink. Pints run between 3.50 and 6 bucks.

Tony's is one of those locations that you go to if you know you love IPA's. And really, if you're in California how can you not enjoy a good IPA. That's what we're good at.

The joint has a wide selection of craft beers that you generally won't find in many places in a 10 mile radius. I know if I'm up for Pliny, there's a 90% chance that I will find it here.

The food selection is mainly a variety of different types of hot dogs as well as a good selection of vegan options (their other site Mohawk Bend is more vegan friendly)

They have board games so you can kill time and slip your drink. The place uses proper glassware as well as pours a proper pint. Prices are all around pretty decent.

Wow, what did we we do to deserve this? The new Tony's DA is a dream come true for the residents of Burbank and the surrounding area.
The most remarkable quality of the new Tony's DA is the genuine passion, excitement and enthusiasm the new owner and his staff share for exploration into the complex art of craft brewing, - particulary focusing on a diverse spectrum of unique and quality brews originating from our home state of CA.

In addition to the "earth conscience" efforts to only drink fresh, local beer from CA, the new Tony's DA serves a wide assortment of interesting sausage sandwich combinations (Vegan+regular) as well as a couple of solid, fresh Salad options and a hand-made Orange Cream soda made by a brewery in OC called ??

Overall - a GREAT place to have in town and well worth patronizing on a regular basis.

P.S. Did I mention that the owner has two deluxe dog beds right out front for your dogs to hang out in while you stop in for a beer at your local Burbank beer bar :)

Everything about this little bar is perfect.

they must have over 35 taps but have a strict no bottle policy that is a statement about how environmentally friendly they are and how committed they are to fresh beer. They only sell Cali beer which is fine with me cuz there is so much to choose from here.

The beer is very reasonably priced. I had a Pliny the Elder for $6! I had a pint of Sculpin on cask for $6 also. Racer 5 only $4.50. And they serve real full pints.

The owner, Tony, imagine that, is very passionate about craft beer and he is usually at the bar. I talked to him about his all craft, all draft, all California motto and he totally convinced me that this is a great idea whose time has come.

I go to this bar on a regular basis even though I live about 10 miles away. the beer is always top notch with lots of new stuff always available.

Food is great, gotta try those sweet potato fires, they are insanely good.

This is my all time favorite place to drink a beer and relax with friends.

There is something very nice about a beer menu separated into an IPA page and Not IPA page. The beer at Tony's is always first rate but lately I've been going for the food. I am addicted to the Streetmeat Sausage and the Sweet Potato Fries.
Sculpin is always on tap, need I write more? The beer selection never disappoints and the bartenders know what they're talking about without being snobby or over the top.
Tony's Darts Away has a well deserved reputation as one of the best beer bars in Los Angeles.

I love this place and since I'm new to beer advocate I wish I would have rated it before. There beer selection is what I go there for. Tony does what he wants and it works well for there location. I love the menu, ipa. Not ipa. Simple and efficient and I like it that way. I've also have been to his other location the mowhak bend. Now that place knows how to do it right. I'll review it later.. Now with darts away you can go in there with some friends and choose from the many games they have on shelves, pick hungry hippo, and all the beer books. You can borrow them if they still allow it. I recommend this place to any hopp head and challenge them to try a pint of all there ipa's and be able to walk out of there.

Not only do they have over 30 California beers on tap, they are only $4.50-$6.00 for a real pint. They also do flights and half pints which in nice. The food is awesome, especially the sweet potato fries. They even have vegan food that I could actually swallow.
They have a good mix of tables and bar seats. There's a pool table and a dart board of course and 3 tvs. Not only do they have books you can check out, they have games to play like Connect Four and Trivial Pursuit. Its a good place to have lunch and they allow children up until a certain time. Not only the best bar in Burbank probably my favorite in the San Fernando Valley.

Tony's Darts Away is the new player on the block in Burbank. There is no other place that can even come close, though. The taps are the best selection around for miles and miles. The idea of stocking only California brewed beers in kegs only is revolutionary and genius. Tony and his crew are some of the nicest and well educated people in the business. Since they opened I have learned so much more about beer and brewing that I consider Tony's Darts Away my home away from home.

If you have not been, you are missing out. It is definitely a pleasure to hear a keg blow out and know that a different beer will be on tap next.

I have had the great pleasure of meeting Lee Chase there and learning about his Blind Lady Ale House in San Diego. That was very cool.

See you at Tony's...

Dive bar converted to a hip craft beer spot.

This place rocks.

The inside is a long room, to one side the bar, and the other small black tables with chair and booth type seating. The place usually gets pretty packed at night, so if you are looking to grab a beer at a quiet bar on a weekday night, this might not be the best spot.

At first I took the idea of 'All draught, All California' to be pretty gimmicky, but I got over that really quick.

They have a great rotating selection, fresh IPAs are always plentiful.

The service is all at the bar, but is always attentive and quick.

The food is really good, as long as you are in the mood for sausages or salads. I have always gone with a sausage made up with toppings that fit my mood, or just sharing a side of sweet potato fries with some friends.

The place doesn't try to charge more than they need to either, which is great. The pours are all less than $6 or so, and the food is reasonable as well.

This is my after work hang and after a few years of being a regular I am happy to say that TDA is still the best place for beer in all of Los Angeles. The new patio can't be beat and the food specials are always a delicious bargain.
My man Jim behind the bar always keeps it real and always has a good suggestion. Yesterday he recommended a beer called Saber Tooth Squirrel, something I wouldn't order on principal alone, and it was fantastic.
I enjoy the mellow vibe and the laid back crowd almost as much as the monster beer list filled top to bottom with old favorites and things you've never heard of.

A small vegan bar located in Burbank CA. They have pretty much a vegan friendly menu, but nothing that screams real pub food. It was pretty good, but I'm not sure I would rush back here for the food. The taps were really good, They have 36+ taps and a cask..

-Ballast Point Sculpin
-Stone Cali-Belgique
-Nectar Hemp Ale
-Lagunitas Gnarleywine
-Firestone Walker Solace
All California Beers!!!!

Most was served in the correct glassware. In the craft beer wasteland of Burbank this place has one of the better selections.
Biggest down fall is that you have to server yourself. I don't like to tip 20% when I do all the work. I'm to old for that.

Fantastic craft beer bar. It's the perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening. Even if you stop in for a short time its still is a pleasant experience. Only downfall is that it is a smaller place so it can be crowded. Just means it's popular which isn't a downfall just something to keep in mind if your wanting a place to sit on a friday night. This bar is pretty much my go to bar for craft beer and relaxation.

This place is a beer lovers paradise, there are a load of beer books you can read there or barrow, on every thing from cooking with beer and home brewing to rating beer. I like the fact they have half pints and there pint glasses are actually 16 fluid ounces. I also like that they are keeping it local all the bees are regional from within the state. Last night I had Old Godfather Barley Wine-Style Ale from Speakeasy, I couldn't believe they had it there. They are putting in 2 cask ales I cant wait to try those. Over all its a wonderful place.

As a Portland native and long time beer lover, I can without
hesitation, suggest Tony's Darts Away as the top beer bar between San Francisco and San Diego. And I put it up against any SF or SD place too.
Where do I start? How about the beer... They have 39 beers on tap including two beer engines and three nitro taps. All of the beer is on draft. It is all from California and it is all incredible. No concession Bud Light in bottles or Guiness on tap.
The sign prominently reads: All craft, all draught, all California and this place delivers. Honest Pint certified, beautiful large pours, super cheap prices, rotating selection to keep the beer geeks swarming and about 10 resident taps that keep regulars happy.
There is nothing wrong and everything right about this neighborhood pub.
Food is very good and has a ton of vegan stuff. Atmosphere is beer bar
perfect. Simple, easy to relax, comfortable, games, jukebox.
The best thing about this place might be the vibe. Staff is well
trained and passionate about beer without being pretentious or pushy at all.

Mwah - I heart Tony's.

ps. just got a private message from a fan of this bar asking why I had given them $$$$. My mistake, Tony's is very inexpensive.

Beer bars are a hard to find blessing in the Los Angeles area, but Tony's Darts Away is one of a kind.

Tony's features amazing service, happy customers, helpful and beer-savoy regulars, great food, and most importantly outstanding beer. The bar's beer selection changes daily, some days more drastically then others. As kegs pop the diligent and dedicated staff of Tony's Darts Away quickly replace them with some of the rare gems hidden away in the bars cramped and packed-full cold box.

For being a bar that is less then 3 months old, officially having its grand opening May 10, its astonishing to see such beers as Russian Rivers Damnation, Consecration, and most recently Blind Pig available on draught.

What is equally astonishing is the wide selection of vegan food offed. Regardless whether you are a vegan or not the vegan sausages are to die for. Tony's also offers pork and chicken for those who just can't live with out it, as well as several salads and appetizers, including the tantalizing sweet potato fries.

Tony's offers a relaxed, peaceful, coffee house-esque atmosphere during the day while having a feverish and hip night life. The bartenders are more of beer historians then just people who pour beer, and will gladly explain and assist any need. But if your looking to expand your beer knowledge and palette get there before 5pm. Tony's gets busy fast.

Tony's has great beer, great people, and is always a great experience. If you live in the Los Angeles area there is no excuse not to pay Tony's a visit. If your not in the mood for a surprise check out their website to see an up-to-date beer list.

This is my go to place since I work about 10 minutes away. I'm there at least once a week when I got off of said job.

Being that my shift ends an hour before they close and I get no dirty looks for coming in at that time is a huge plus for me. I am always welcome there with a smile and a beer.

The bartenders are great and are always attentive. They have a good selection of beer BUT my only gripe with what they serve here is that it's all California breweries. I would love to just come here and have a beer from another brewerie from another state. so sometimes I'm forced to go elsewhere for something else outside of California.

But in all everything else about Tony's is great.
Highly recomended from this guy!

I've been to Tony's a lot lately and I can say I've been seriously impressed every single time.

Bar staff is super friendly, always willing to help you find what you might like to try. The food is AWESOME. I've gone in there and literally ordered 3 or 4 different things because I could not stop eating (and I'm not a big eater). The fact that they have a Vegan menu is pretty awesome, and though I'm not vegan, it's actually really really good versus some of the "fancy upscale" vegan places.

Great price, great bar staff, by far the cleanest bathroom facility I've ever seen in a bar (seriously, some bars have the gnarliest bathrooms in L.A).

Seriously, you need to go here if you live in L.A, are visiting, or want to visit. Make this one a bucket list. Because you'll feel like you've died and gone to heaven, especially if you love beer.

The menu is broken down between IPA and Non-IPA, they have wine on the menu but if you're going to go to Tony's, you go for the Beer!

This place was definitely the highlight of my 10 day trip to southern CA. The bartender was great, the selection was amazing. In west coast fashion, they have an an entire section devoted to IPA's. The atmosphere is laid back, with tons of beer and brewing books laying around to look at. I had spent a week looking around LA and San Diego for some bottles to bring back to Iowa, and after a couple hours at Tony's I had the lead on where to find everything I was looking for. The beer is great and the conversation is better. I will be going back if I'm ever in Burbank again.

Amazing beer selection, and extremely reasonably priced. if you are into craft beers, you must check this spot out!

pretty trendy; a lot of hipsters.... but the beer selection is worth it.

regarding the ambiance; think upscale dive bar with great beer selection.

i have had a few sausages and they are pretty good, not as good as würstkuche, yet good none the less.

they have an outside patio, a pool table, a dart table (shitty darts), and a jukebox thingy that people can choose the music (i.e., hit or miss music).

all in all Tony's is a really great spot that anyone who loves beer, or is just getting into craft beers to try some amazing brews!
