Dropped by with my girlfriend last month. I now live in Milton during the week and Shepherd's Crook is the closest craft beer spot, unless you're willing to frequent a douchey-looking sports bar or fake Irish pub for a couple micro taps.
Atmosphere: classic English alehouse with a sizeable wooden bar, dozens of four-seater tables, and a few booths in the back. Quiet and relaxed vibe.
Service: kind of a mixed bag. Our first round came quickly and the waitress was pleasant enough, but she didn't know much about the beers and I had to flag her down for the second round. Food took a while to arrive at the table.
Selection: solid draughts include Fuller's ESB and London Pride, Neustadt 10w30, and Hacker Pschorr Edelhell Lager. Wellington Arkell was on the hand pump. My pints of Headstrong Pale Ale and Stone Hammer Maple Red were in top form and the lady enjoyed her white wine.
Food: the Bangers & Mash were tasty but lukewarm, the Bruschetta was mediocre, and the Garden Salad had some wilted lettuce. Neither of us finished our meals.
Overall: we won't come back for dinner but this place is a decent watering hole, especially for Halton Region. Worth a stop for a drink or two and it seems like the timeliest service can be had at the bar. Thanks to NRMan for the reco.

The only place to go in Georgetown for a nice pint. Plus they have a Cask, so you can't complain about that either. It is a nice sit down style English pub with lot of taps. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights and it's packed in there.
My only complaint about it is that I wish they would rotate their taps, but only the Cask gets changed every now and then. The other 18 are almost always the same.
Oh yeah, and the food is hit-and-miss too.
However it's still my favourite place in town and I recommend!
